I'm looking at a job transfer to the Fredericksburg area. Been doing a lot of homework already. After my last work trip there I discovered I don't want anything to do with north.

Fredericksburg is just at the southern end of the Washington to Boston megalopolis. It's like Brewer or Saltillo in Ms. compared to Tupelo. Depends on how close you locate to I95.
Fredericksburg has a great Kubota dealership, Dickinson Equipment, at 1200 Bragg Rd, Fredericksburg, VA. It's 40 miles south of my house in Alexandria, Va. That's where I bought the Woods backhoe and several tires for my B7610 and M4700.

Probably LS Tractor XR4145-45HP.

There is an Armory in Amory (101 9th Street South, Amory, Mississippi)
But:

A comparatively quiet Mississippi town. Similar to where I'm trying to retire to which is a 40 miles north of Amory.

There's a good John Deere in Fredericksburg, Greenline, have satsified with numerous big and small items purchased there.

So far, so good operationally wise.
However, somebody broke into it by prying open the sunroof and dropping down inside. I just had to strap a tarp over it today since it is going to rain the next few days.
I need the forward trim pieces where the sunroof hinges, and the linkage that opens and locks the sunroof. That linkage is what broke. Thankfully the glass held.
So, now I have to order these parts and I will see how well the dealer and LS come through for me.

We're looking at houses to the west and south of FRD. I'll most likely toss in my XR4145 and all my equipment with my current house. I'm planning on down sizing the land from my 50 acres to maybe 2-3 acres. So my 4145 might be a little much.

What's a "45 minute drive"? The growing urbanization has caused many in the DC area to move south and west.
In Virginia I'm ~ 40 miles north of Fredericksburg, it is often a 2 hour drive due to rush hour traffic. In Mississippi I'm about the same distance From Tupelo, there it's rarely more than a 45 minute drive.

It’s crazy the number of new houses going up on 3 between Fredericksburg and Culpepper. Traffic on 17 is getting nuts too. Not sure where they are all coming from and going to, but they sure are in a damn hurry.

Sorry for your misfortune. Yeah they appear to be an auto repair shop that sells a few LS tractor also.

Actually, that was why I decided to go with them. After reading stories from many different brand owners about buying their tractors at a dealer, only to find when it needed service, the dealers had zero skilled mechanics on hand.

I figured if Ratliff's was primarily a mechanic shop first, that would be where I would feel good about having my tractor serviced.
