Good morning!!!!

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.5C and it's presently 17.2C, clear with continued gusty wind. There was 15.0mm in the gauge @ 0900.
The wind has abated; flagpole & flag re-installed.
... and I got 'cocky'. The flagpole was blown down this morning, probably around 0500 due to sustained (recorded at the aerodrome) wind of 82+kph. It's just the bottom section and I've got a spare so I'll be able to repair it. I'll just have to wait until, probably, Tuesday when this extended weather event is over. Other than that there's been no other damage around the property.

I did some internet 'digging' and found that this high (gale to storm force) wind event is due to a triple Low system hovering around Antarctica. It's causing a "sub-tropic" cyclone. Funny to think of Antarctica as being sub-tropic. :D

It'll be an early night for me as I'll need to get up very early tomorrow morning IOT be at Launceston for a 0900 conference. Hopefully I'll be home by 1900.

Today I'll nip into town and top-up the ute with petrol + pick up some pipe tobacco.

That's about it, take care all

Ron, take it easy and do what Igor (PT) tells you.
was Ron now don. PT a nice gentle non-igor pt lady will come to the house in the morning, according to her text for my first evaluation. The block is stii active so still pain free. the spinal block will last from one day to three days. on the knee it lasted 25 hours and then abruptly stop working mandating pain pills now! they say the arm block will slowly wear off, will see. just put on a stretchy large t-shirt which is easier than a button shirt after watching a shoulder pt explain it in YouTube

Good Evening,
Don, let me know when you start doing PT, and as you recall I was standing and sitting in rapid succession with a drink in my hand, trying to out do you when you were recovering the last time ! Of course I had a drink in my hand then ! :):)

All kidding aside, get well soon, with an easy recovery !
I'm sure there will be beer mug exercises for the shoulder, the trick will be trying to take a sip when the arm is in the up position during wrist tilt. oh, I forgot can't mix alcohol and pain pills will have to sip vicariously.

Good morning,
49° now highs in the low 70’s and sunny today. Winds E 5-10 mph, dew points low/mid 50’s again today.

Got grocery shopping done yesterday, a bit crazy as expected because of the holiday weekend. Picked some tomatoes and beans, summer squash and cukes are done some kind blight took them. Overall not a real bad year.

No plans for today just enjoy the cooler weather and putter around.

Enjoy your day everyone
Stay safe and healthy

Coffee is brewing. 68° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 88° with thunderstorms. Made it through 3 days of being without internet and cell phone connection after storm on Tuesday. Just a few limbs to pick up around my place. My generator did it's job. But trees and other objects falling in roads and power line shut down almost everything. Me and other neighbors cleared the road we live on of several large trees. Allowed service people to get at power lines. Today I will be mowing grass and staying out of the heat.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

Meeting fellow TBN/GM folks one of life’s pleasures.
It is great meeting other TBN members. I got to meet quite a few from Michigan. But do not see any of them posting now. Also got to meet the whole crew at the Texas get togethers. Txdon and Kyle and Eddie Walker are part of that group.
Also met Drew last summer.
