John Deere 322 Yanmar 3TG66

John Deere 322 with Yanmar engine will run 15 minuets and shut off abruptly. Wait long enough will crank and run another 15 minuets.
Checked coils--all have fire.
No fuel in carb-- Fuel filter clear. solenoid working.
Replaced fuel pump. Still doing the same thing. Any suggestions? Thank you!

If it's a gasoline engine with no fuel in the carburetor I'd check to see if the float valve is working properly. That can prevent fuel from entering if it sticks closed. Disconnect fuel pump from carb and check to see that it's putting out fuel.

If it's a gasoline engine with no fuel in the carburetor I'd check to see if the float valve is working properly. That can prevent fuel from entering if it sticks closed. Disconnect fuel pump from carb and check to see that it's putting out fuel.

Took Carb off and opened up. Looks good. Hooked up fuel pump with top of the carb off. Turned fuel pump on. Observed float working properly. Reassembled everything and test ran for about 10 minutes tonight. Will test run again tomorrow with voltmeter hooked up to fuel pump to see if the pump shuts down due to loss of power.
