Good morning!!!!

I was a very early advocate of John Stuart Mill
“If all mankind minus one, were of one opinion, and only one person were of the contrary opinion,
mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power,
would be justified in silencing mankind.”

basically do what you want to do, just don't hurt anyone else. Do no harm.
so the gay person would ask those who are offended, how do I harm you?
wide range of opinions here, that's what makes us diverse and human.
And interesting. But not necessarily right.
From the other guy's perspective...

to survive as a species, I think we need to be more inclusive and find ways to get along better with folks we don't agree with.
And if something is a sin, well there are different sins for different religions.
The Muslim approach to queer folks is pretty harsh. Some places will kill you if you admit to being gay.

I believe folks who burn tires and set up barricades and generally make a real pain of themselves should get locked up.
Humanely, but lock them up. If they feel strongly enough, they can accept the legal penalty.
Walk the walk just don't talk the talk. But they often don't, and throw dangerous stuff at police who just wish they would go
home, and it often escalates into ugliness and injury. Sadly I don't think the paddy wagon is going out of style.
And folks who hurt/injure others? Lock them up for a long time. No tolerance for violence.

Maybe their methods can be terrible and wrong, but sometimes a protestor's cause is just.
Sometimes even our country doesn't get it right.
Even churches change their stand or position on things.
hard to get perfection out of a bunch of imperfect humans

so instead of going to the town's parade I spent time with my old friends in their brand new final home near Hatfield PA, just over the county line
in Montgomery County. They sold their Florida home, the one I go to visit, and now will sell their Doylestown home and move in here next month.
He is confined totally to a power chair so the house is set up for that.
It looked nice, though the fit and finish was nothing special. About 45 minutes from me.

we got very little rain today, could have used more.
pine trees near the house have big yellow nodules on them just ready to explode in clouds of yellow pollen
enjoy your evening

Good Evening Randy,
Anyway, I'm off to Church in a few minutes and then the rest of the day is His.
Randy, in just shy of 12 hours I will be doing the exact same thing ! 🙏
That tells me that if I drilled a hole through the earth, it would come out by you ! 😉😂

Good Evening Mostly,
Regarding 'hospital food' not being the most palatable.
Mostly, yes I would concur on that point ! 😉😂
The last time that I had to spend a night in a 'private' hospital (post cataract surgery; Dr. needed to see me first thing in the morning.) The meal was not only good, but I requested, and received, a glass of red wine + cheese & crackers for an evening snack.

Mind you, it wasn't the best vintage, but still...

If you don't ask, you won't get.

Don,
We have 2 pool robots.
The older one is a Maytonics Dolphin. This is a cabled unit, but can be controlled on iphone. Runs about 2 hours and can schedule. Basically, just pull out and clean periodically.
Newer one is Aiper, completely untethered, have to remove to clean and recharge.
Together they do a decent job except this year I somehow got an ultra fine sediment, too fine for the filters. Otherwise, they do get any leaves or debris.
The Aiper did a much better job the second day when I had it on floor only. It went 3 hours on the charge, untethered. Thanks everyone for the suggestions I looked at all of them and they were exceptional. I'll give the Aiper a 30 day trial.

This talk of pool vacs..... no pools for me anymore! We had one at the old house.... seems that I spent more time on maintenance and cleaning than I did enjoying getting in the pool. Only way I would ever have a pool again is if I can make it "indoor", like in a big greenhouse!
No pools anymore for me either. That's what I said also. Then my wife said you don't have to swim you can just like looking at the view. That put a whole new perspective on the pool - just treating it as a water feature, not something I have to use. But I do still have to maintain it, but anything you enjoy requires maintiance similar to a 10 acre yard, that requires mowing and maintenance on tractors/mowers. The pool cleaning robot sure makes it an easy job. The big greenhouse over the pool would be nice-no leaves or mosquitoes.

Good evening all. 62ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, sky cleared off, and high temp was 89ºF, HI 92ºF. Made coffee to start day, got ready to ride, and then the bike ride, 62+ miles, 4 1/2 hours moving time, 5.2 hours overall. Found another bicyclist at back gate, invited him along and he came :). 2 hour nap and glass of V8 and off to dinner.
