Toaster.
I was just thinking today remember when you opened an account at a bank they gave you a toaster?

And dishes…..when I first moved out of my parents’ house, I think the two dishes I had were from a bank…..

Shell Steak Knives for me…
You just reminded me that our drinking glasses when I was a kid were a similar promo. I'm pretty sure they came from Burger King, with the Looney Toons character on one side and BK logo on the other, but Warner Bros had licensed this imaging to so many companies in the early 1970's that they could've been from a few places.

Mom is moving again this summer, downsizing from a house to an apartment. This will be the third move since we got those glasses ca.1973, but I'll be curious to see if I come across any packed away in an attic or basement box.

I've still got 4 of those somewhere. :ROFLMAO:
Petro Kanuckistan gave away Olympic logo glasses for the 76 event.
Several different types.
If you go to a gar(b)age sale or thrift shop they still turn up in numbers.

Back in the 60’s,Piggly Wiggly gave out individual pieces of flatware with grocery purchases. My mom collected them and accumulated about a serving of 12 including all the serving pieces and a beautiful solid wood storage box. I inherited the and still use them daily.

I'm still using the plates we had as children. My mom sent them to me 25 yrs ago. I use them daily.

You know you are old if you remember green stamps. My mom collected them to claim discounts on groceries.
