Went from a Category 1 to Category 2 tractor. Now attachments won't fit

The pin is loosened to allow the half that is threaded to spin.

The pin is re-installed. It does TWO things. First....yes it keeps it from spinning and changing the adjustment. But second....that is also how it is attached. Without that pin installed, the two halves of the stabilizer can simply come apart

I went from a cat one to a cat 2 tractor and the first thing I did was tear up a bunch of implements! Didn't help that they were bought to fit a 13hp tractor and I bought a 70hp tractor to destroy them with! I should have sold them with the tractor!

The original poster has both pins removed and sitting on top of the PTO shield in his first photo.
I noticed that in pic but it didn't "register", just going to walk away from this discussion....

It’s funny the OP has only posted twice on his own thread

Great call on the diagram!
Still amazed that oem doesn't have more adjustments, and op could of made this just 1 page if he would of said he pulled the pins, I thought they were just pins for the attachment 😁

I have the same issue. My green tractor is a cat 1 and my orange tractor is a cat 2. Being a cheapskate, I thought I could share implements with the two. Nope. Doesn't work well at all.

I went from a 47 HP Cat I to a 54 HP Cat II with no issues damaging implements. Don’t see how 7 add’l HP should make much difference other than the stoutness of the lower 3 pt arms. I do use adapters to reduce slop. Plus I‘m careful with my toys. 😆

Good catch! I also noticed the tractor end wasn’t crimped like the implement end for any threading.
