when you think about what a buzzard eats, road kill a specialty, I bet
they taste absolutely awful
but for a big eagle Bob the buzzard would taste yummy

speaking of yummy, found some salmon on sale for 8.99 a pound today, forced myself to buy it even
though not my favorite fish. But it really is good for you.
need to cook it with strong flavoring, I think I have some sweet chutney I might cover it with.

It's one of my favorites because its so easy to cook. A little lemon-pepper sprinkled on it with butter is all I use. Enjoy your salmon with whatever you like! I like mine a little crispy around the edges too.

Grilled with a bourbon-brown sugar seasoning mix. Followed by a nice slathering of bourbon-honey sauce. Served with cajon fried potatoes and freshly roasted asparagus in an olive oil garlic basting.

Here is a picture of my little electric hand held chain saw ! The blade is only about 4” so it’s limited to small branches etc !

Looks very similar to mine. It is a very handy thing to keep on the Lazer for the first mowings in the spring, helps beat back the stuff that pokes out of the hedgerows. I take it in the tractor as well.

Ct, 18 to start going to 42 ! Sun will be out shortly, clouds moving in later ! We are in a flood watch area, so probably some puddles in the basement tomorrow!

Our male cat Ginty has been sick for months now, he is not eating hardly anything! Have to bring him in for an ultrasound this morning! We have been giving him meds for months now ! So hoping for the best ! He is a great cat !

Have not heard LS, Ted on at all, hope he is OK !


Wngsprd, boy does that sound familiar! You know you have a tractor to do the job but instead you try to save some time, and in the end it costs you what your trying to save !

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.1C and it's presently 18.9C, lightly clouded and fairly calm.

Paddock #6 cleaned up + an over-the-fence conversation with the neighbour who lost their son back in January. All's well with them & getting on with life. The bo's'n call lesson went well once I showed them how to hold it properly & adjusting to their individual hand. It truly is a musical instrument & the 'high' note is the most difficult one to achieve. After that it's simply a matter of practice (and, as a Cadet, driving your Mum up-the-wall with, said, practice)

Today I need to head into town IOT vote in our State election. I'll probably pick up 20 ltrs of diesel and I need to replace the 1 kg. fire extinguisher on the tractor (knocked off & broken during the paddock clean up)

Very smoky on the drive over, especially in western MD.
Dad doing as good as can be expected, but I notice a decline since Thanksgiving.
Tomorrow will be a bit cooler.

I got all the trees that fell down over winter shoved into the bush. Now tomorrow is cut 14" deep into the trunks and add Epsom salts that'll help them rot. After the salts are added someone (me) will need to take a p. All over the stumps.

The banker lady asked me if I needed an envelope for the 6 grand I withdrew. Told her no thanks, I have a pocket. I then asked her that if she saw me on the street would she think I had over 6 grand in my pocket. She said no. I didn't go into the bank wearing my Brookes Brothers' suit. Black jeans and a black T-shirt with sneakers and a French block heater. I never look like I have money.

When I was a lot younger, my Grandpa used to get me to walk up to the bank with the receipts from the drug store in a paper bag. He said that no one would suspect a 15 year old to be carrying 10-15 grand in a paper bag.
