Amen.so maybe that high tax rate is a badge of honor.
if you pay high taxes and don't get the benefits, I think I'd move.
Sorry for your loss Tinhack. Glad she had that many years to be alive and went peacefully.Mom went to be with the Lord last Wednesday and joined my dad and oldest brother. She went in her sleep without pain or trauma. The healthcare worker tried her best to revive her but to no avail. She was 98 and had a pretty good run.
then don't bring any over to Don's house...Ok I might be ok with the french onion soup but beans of any kind have no place in my chili.
Too bad there is no pie. Everything is better with pie.Two_bit my brother recommends cabin on Skagway to Washington run. No pie here.
You and they are very blessed! Congratulations!biggest news is that last Friday, March 1, my daughter and son-in-law welcomed a second baby boy into the family. <3 I will try to put a photo here.
Saving construction scraps and cutoffs must be a trait we are cursed with. I just never seem to be able to clean them out either.More cleanup to happen in the garage and need to recreate my work area, but need to get rid of construction scraps and get big ladder back in place. Still packed full to the brim, so need to be clever about re-organizing.
Amen! Most places need to get back to taking care of basics and stop spending money like it grows on trees. "Oh but it's just going to cost you another penny, (on every $100 of value of your property). My personal opinion NH needs to start taking care of the basics instead of special interest needs.
We would have to make a special batch for Don!then don't bring any over to Don's house...![]()
glad it all ended well.Morning all,
Another wet dreary day here outside, low clouds fog drizzle. It has been an unusual winter, I keep waiting for March to slam us with a heck of a storm.
Going to be an interesting and aggravating day today, have to go up to another Town for Court with my wife. Damned Sheriffs deputy must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed the other day. NY has lost the knowledge to paint a license plate so it lasts, the reflective coating had delaminated from her plates. The little ass wrote her a ticket for the plates. Then she is feeling like she is going to be lying to plead not guilty and get the ticket thrown out. It just pisses my off that he didn't give her a warning or equipment ticket for something the state didn't build correctly. Also I had mentioned to her that she should stop and get new plates previously and that was to much trouble for her to do. Of course after she got the ticket we went and got her new plates that same day and now we get to waste a half hour driving each way and sit in Town Court for who knows how long. Going to be a fun afternoon.
Everyone stay safe and healthy or get well.
Sad for you. Condolences.Got back from the Vet, with only his leash and collar. He was my my fourth dog and the third I had to put down. Sure will be quiet around here...![]()
wow wee zoweee!Bikini
That ought to work.
Sorry for your health, prayers. And congrats on new grandson!Greetings All, good evening to the Good Morning crowd.
I'm busy recovering from the sciatica, and though I'm not one to complain, this has been a tough one. With my cerebral palsy (since birth) already compromising my balance, this excruciating pain was almost unbearable. With forearm crutches and some heavy meds, the pain is no longer an issue. My balance is unsteady still after 5-6 weeks, but I am getting there. Basically I've had to re-train my brain to learn how to walk all over again - last time I had to do that I was much younger. I've been mostly homebound as the snow is difficult to manoeuvre in. I will try to get to church tomorrow.
tonight, I'm watching hockey games. I will get back here soon again. have a great night all.
biggest news is that last Friday, March 1, my daughter and son-in-law welcomed a second baby boy into the family. <3 I will try to put a photo here.

Sorry for your loss. Glad you got to hug her. End of life is not easy, but I know of the best long term retirement package.Mom went to be with the Lord last Wednesday and joined my dad and oldest brother. She went in her sleep without pain or trauma. The healthcare worker tried her best to revive her but to no avail. She was 98 and had a pretty good run. She was the oldest of her siblings and only the youngest remains out of the six. We had already begun planning for her 100th birthday party with the 100 or so great-great-great grandkids, cousins and more. We are still celebrating her life and times are hard at the moment. I got my last hug the night before as I helped her from the wheelchair into bed. She didn't want to let go and now I know why.
In my case the breakdown is this
No. Shore roast beef since I was a kid. Moo is the only way LOL.then don't bring any over to Don's house...
windy afternoon, some sun came out finally which was nice.
living near the woods when the wind picks up there is a constant background noise that is very different after the trees leaf out.
it's like the wind sound is unmuffled now, banging into those trees with all hard surfaces, no soft leaves.
at times sounds like the surf from far away
whhhooooosssshhhhhhh
saw a video on a North Shore roast beef sandwich, which I first thought was Chicago or Detroit.
No, North Shore of Massachusetts. And you have to use rare thinly sliced roast beef and James River barbecue sauce.
Same recipe since 1950.
Phil? anyone else had a North Shore roast beef sandwich?
I'm wondering what flavor that barbecue sauce has
with extra dipping au jus.
on a crunchy piece of freshly made bread
take a couple to go to the local park and have a fine picnic.
and if you cook the roast beef too much, I read you clearly are only from the South Shore.
that's me, I don't like rare meat. No mooing.
i would like all brain boring parasites cooked thoroughly.
