Well you are an impressively friendly bunch in this thread. I made one post with temperature and weather, and found it attracted 10 likes!!

We did get snow-- yay- first real snow of the year. So, behind schedule.

15F overnight, still only 22F at almost 9am. Colder than usual.

learned how to drive in snow in a 1966 VW bug with studded snow tires.

GM Drew, I had a 1964 VW bug, that thing was great in the snow, also had studded tires on mine in the winter, but not much in the way of heat or defrost !

Lou, we have large packs of turkeys cross our fields on a regular basis also !Must be some good bugs out there !

Neighbor is a small dairy farmer spreads manure almost daily, the turkeys travel up on the mountain behind me and down to his hay fields for the pickings.

Good worship this morning. What little bit of snow and ice we had is already gone except in the shade in front of the house. Was 33 deg when I left this morning and it was already melting.

This is my average temperature per year for the last 14 years, as recorded on my power company bills. Our average temperature has dropped for the 3rd consecutive year, 3 degrees cooler than the highest of 2017. Thought this was interesting.
