As a youngster, I would go to the Dime store and buy my Grandma a pretty handkerchief, scarf or doily. I always got lots of praise.

Wife and I don't generally exchange presents on Christmas, but came across this online this morning and ordered just for her. She loves feeding the hummingbirds and watching them. They're apparently corten steel, no clue about that kind of steel that is, kind of more money that I thought, but I know the wife will love it and that's all the counts!

Last year, I got my folks a digital frame from https://www.nixplay.com/ and loaded it up with family photos. Now I just update it remotely with new pics, and they really like seeing fresh ones pop up without doing anything. It’s been a hit, especially since we're not nearby. Simple setup too, even they figured it out without much help.
