Good late (Tuesday) arvo. Overnight Low of 5.8C, High of 20C and it's presently 19.7C, partly cloudy with gusting wind.

Like everyone, found that TBN was 'down'... which lead to my getting off my backside and tackling a few outside projects, including the star-picket straightening and, despite the wind, dropping those wattle branches. I'll load them up tomorrow and dump them on the wood pile.

Tomorrow is 'into town' day for mail and groceries.

That's about it, take care all.

Good to see TBN back up. Yup, seems I lost a few posts re cordless tools. Thanks for all your input.

Did get a start on my solution. Expanding my current rack vertically with some 2x6’s using pvc to hold the tools.

I will give you a context.
For Lithuania basketball always has been a sport nr1. And to be frank, they were a bit better than Latvian team. But not THAT much better as they were arrogant about that. For example, when was that tournament where my kids played, coach of Lithuanian team was like - I am soooo exhausted, why dont you give us those medals already, we will won anyway, aint that clear, we are LITHUANIA
At the end was tie, then overtime. And our team was winning, they left 1 minute before game ended. Everybody was on nerves, but know how to loose either.
And then there was WC (Jakarta; Manila). For 5 - 6-th place was game LT vs LV.
We won. And that was a kind of disaster there.
But other than they are best neighbors.

Drinking hot cup of coffee. 24° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 40° with cloudy skies. Never looked at list yesterday. Did get out and got Covid shot. Arm is a little sore today. feel good otherwise. Have a couple of shop projects to work on today.

another unpleasant alarm clock this morning
for second morning in a row, woke up early to no power
I can hear all the neighborhood gens going so as usual nothing to do with this property.
same as yesterday, more than 600 homes out of power

adding to my morning grumpiness was the fact that when I hit start on gen, standing outside in dark with a flashlight, all I heard was a whizzing sound.
starter not engaging. Did that five times, no joy. Took slack out of pull rope and worried about having my arm yanked off,
gave this big engine a pull. Started right up to my delight. Now I have to figure out why starter is not engaging. Later this morning I'll get a hammer and tap
on the starter. Might get lucky.
I really need to get an automatic gen. Spending ten grand on a rental house generator is not wise unless I stay here a long time.

only plans for today are a haircut this morning
correction, freeze warning out for tonight. Means all the green peppers get picked today. Will chop them up and freeze them.

Good morning !
It is warmer, around 8 C. Lot of clouds, but nothing falls from the sky


Had a meeting with el.network installer. God, I hate this situation

I am moving on with office / showroom. You might remember how we discussed "celebration", when construction reached highest point, crown on top, etc

Now it looks like this:

You might notice my Yanmar in showroom. That room is not barn for tractor but it's meant for CNC machines. One "vintage" already is there in backgrounds

To call that house finished we have to finish electrical installation. I have hired 2 1/2 guys company for this job. They have made earthing (grounding ?) protection, inlet cables, some lights already. As far it is done it seems very accurate, neat.
But management (which is planned rather complicated, KNX, Dali, everything sensorized etc) has not been started yet.

Guys wife went for some surgery, and there are complications with her. Now he is staying at home, changing diapers for his wife, bringing kids to kindergarten, school... And becoming half deaf... And having a kind of mental breakdown... I dont know which one is cause which is consequences.

It was 2 months ago. Now he seems to be back on track, but still doesnt do nothing active in my office. Just start to recover.
I like that guy, but I cant wait for him forever.

The guy from this morning is ready to take over, start on very short notice. They are bigger company, I am sure his electricians will be not so accurate like that first one

God, I dont know what to do. If I will break the contract (and I have all rights to do so), it will be another hit for this poor guy

I think the showers will come as snow. My snow tires are on.

Big shopping trip today, the monthly trip to North Bay.Only 6 stops plus lunch. Should be home by 2 P.M.
