50 going to 65...clouds hung around most of the day, but should be departing soon.

Kil, I'd have a tough time working at that Ag office...would be staring out the window all the time.

Buppies, glad the job is done.

BEF, looks like the train trip was a winner. Hope the food was good.

Mowed a couple of hours yesterday...the frisbee field was a jungle, will need to mow it one more time just to lower the deck a bit and take care of the clippings, then frost should take of it.

Completed reconnecting the woodstove, and fired it up before sunset for a test...nice and toasty warm now. Will let it go out later this morning.
It is difficult to find places without good views here.

the views from our Walmart freakin’ PARKING LOT are wonderful!

I enjoy everyone’s pics also. I should do a better job commenting on them. And Thomas sure does buy a lot of critter food, no wonder he’s always working.
Taking the cook out to eat is a good thing also.
Don’t know yet what I’ll do today.
Another pic from yesterday, going into the trough, a section of river tight between 2 mountains. Many eagles in this area. Reflections on windows made it hard to get good pics.

Ron...I know I haven't written enough about how much I enjoy your catching the moment wildlife pictures each morning :( thanks for sharing.
Thanks. It’s something I enjoy doing. Gets me out of the house or looking out windows to see what is happening out there.

Question for Don re: Auction:

there is a $25 Mailing Fee plus bid plus actual shipping.

is that per item? Or is it one time regardless of number of items?
IMG_4807.jpeg

because That potentially means, if it is per item, that if I bid on five items I need to shell out $125 on top of the other $$$. . . Sortakinda changes the equation a bit… if it is a single charge it isn’t too bad…

Good morning, the low is 40 and going to a high of 56°F. Wind E 6 mph. 30% chance of showers beginning near noon.

On the way to the dump I will be moving a freezer for the neighbour lady and picking up whatever she has to go to the dump, too.

I cannot put the trailer into its' winter home until the next tarp is put up, but I am not all that sure it will get put up today/tomorrow or the next day due to rain in the forecast.

I have a few birch trees on this property, all the rest are pine and tamarack/larch.

I had a picture of a woodpecker cleaning up the house, I cant find it now.

Have a safe day all

Back tree about bare

Wngsprd, food on train very good, a little small on portioning. I got pork, potatoes and green beans. Wife got fish. They offer couch with no meal, box lunches, 3 course, 4 course and 5 course meals. All for a price. They also have a concession area. We did not go to the open car to view.
Had 2 young teenage ladies(from Houston Tx)with their Aunt across from us. Since we were on the river side of the train and they couldn’t see eagles well from that side, on return trip my wife sat next to me and we let them sit at our table on other side to see better. Very nice young ladies.

Morning all, 48 going up to 66 and cloudy
Fire pit finished, more halloween decorations put up and down the driveway with lighting.

Ron's pictures always a great way to start the morning.

BEF - train ride looks like a success and great views.

Still need to do some cleanup, split some wood, get house ready for some friends to visit etc.

MRI still a week out, ugh.

Got the permit sent vs. going over there, $143 and a friendly person on the other side emailed me the whole kit. Need a mechanical inspection to complete final, no electrical etc.

Be well, back to wacky day job

46 outside right about now, heading to lower 60's.

Fall is upon us. Trees have yellowed out, as opposed to mellowing. LOL.

Collecting firewood, working on Milk House and still trying to engage a plumber. One guy backed out of the job, at least he called back.

Lots going on.... had another medical insurance disagreement. $$$$. Pretty sad. People just not doing their jobs.

Hope all have a great week, be safe.

Belated B-Day wishes, good health and positive thoughts to those that celebrated.
