Good evening all. 39ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze, Light wind, clear sky, and high temp was 73ºF. putter in morning pushed another bill out. Bike ride not as windy, was going to mow but wife napping and mower wakes her up. Did get blade sharpened and underneath cleaned up. Dentist appointment went well, hygienist said teeth and gums in good shape. Japanese restaurant closed today so had to settle for pizza, no nap

Drinking good tasting cup of coffee. 38° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 60° with cloudy skies. Decided to get Flu shot yesterday. Arm is still sore. But no other affects this morning. Will get Covid and RSV next week. Did not get anything else done. Will start getting garden pond ready for winter today.

another nice Fall day here
up and moving, busy day, school board visitation day, I have to be at school before 8am.
Tradition of school board greeting the kids arriving with a hand shake.
Hand shakes and looking folks right in the eye are a big thing here.

sure am going to wash my hands thereafter since I haven't gotten my flu shot yet.
this takes up whole day, once a year. We get to visit each class in this K-8 school.
I have to wear my cap today since my head still looks like a flock of crazed woodpeckers
attacked me.

first cup of coffee going down nicely. My three pack of Puerto Rican coffee now consumed.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...take backpack blower on morning hike,town for critter food,backpack blower for afternoon hike...day break seem to take longer longer.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

40.4F going to mid-60s, sunny day forecasted. Went to a low of 36 a couple hours ago. Woodstove is wonderful!

Spent the last half-hour perusing the auction catalog, several items will likely be bid on, I would bid on a lot more of them but the shipping would be ruinous! I also emailed a couple items to a friend back in Jersey, he may want the camera items, he still does film as a hobbyist.

As we were walking down the mountain with the dog, Mrs suggested eating out for dinner. I rarely say no, cook deserves a night off every now and then!

Class at Ag Extension was very informative, we also picked up a couple soil sample boxes that I need to fill out the paperwork for — soil samples obtained during dog walk for veggie garden and some other potential gardening sites on woodlot.

Admin stuff in town again, including dropping off another gross of eggs to church food pantry.

50 going to 65...clouds hung around most of the day, but should be departing soon.

Kil, I'd have a tough time working at that Ag office...would be staring out the window all the time.

Buppies, glad the job is done.

BEF, looks like the train trip was a winner. Hope the food was good.

Mowed a couple of hours yesterday...the frisbee field was a jungle, will need to mow it one more time just to lower the deck a bit and take care of the clippings, then frost should take of it.

Completed reconnecting the woodstove, and fired it up before sunset for a test...nice and toasty warm now. Will let it go out later this morning.
