Drew, I just did the FOB for my wifes Honda, yes a bit of a pain, but O did get it to work. Yes, mine were the CR2032 also !

Thomas, yes, mostly a waste of time, had to move the Dr's appt to friday because work needs me tomorrow. Will take the money over going to see that guy any day ! Some football tonite !

I just had to give $3.899 for 87 reg. gas today.
Lots of running around today, I had a VA doctor appointment in the morning 45 minutes away,
got home finally and 30 minutes later almost the same route for my wifes afternoon appointment with her doctor.
At least while she was being see I went and got the truck washed and made an appointment for an oil change on it for tomorrow.
Pretty much a non-productive day, 3 hours + of running around and no contractor for my siding.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 2.5C and it's presently 18C, clear and calm. There was 0.5mm in the gauge @0900.

Everything planned yesterday accomplished... today I'll tackle that wattle tree branch. Other than that I'm just getting back into my usual weekly retired routine. "Ahhhh..."

Found out some of the PA state parks now have full RV hookups. So trying to book one for few days next week, not too far away. Not sure if 50A also has a 30A hookup or not, it doesn't say 50/30. They shut down full hookups Oct 30. I ordered 50 to 30 adapter just in case.

49F, cloudy and wet @ 20:00, high was 54F with occasional light rain throughout the day. Rainfall since midnight was 0.06".

UPS delivered Cycle Stop Valve and Cycle Sensor earlier today.

Used some vinegar to soak the rusted bolts on the front panel of the softener then was able to loosen them with the B&D 20v impact and get them out and the front panel removed from the valve:

Looks pretty bad but it's still functional. Will clean it up as best I can before putting it back together.

Once I had that removed from the valve I was able to pull the piston assembly from valve:

The threads of the flow meter and output connection fitting are currently soaking, will try to separate them here in a few.

After that fashion a tool to pull the seals and spacers.

Just took the trash and recyclables up to the road and set the cans out.

Color coming in pretty nice, maybe another 4 - 7 days and we'll be at full peak:

Last week in Orcutt, CA. I paid $4.49 over on I5 on the way home. That particular Chevron station is notorious for having the highest prices in the area.

Flowmeter removed and disassembled, brass body in the vinegar bath soaking.

Got the rest of the valve body all disassembled and seals and spacers pulled too:

It's brass parts are soaking in the vinegar bath as well ...

Still have to pull the orifices out of the brine injector body but I needed a bigger screwdriver than what I had down there with me.

Good progress for the day.
