Good morning.
42 and clear sky. Going to stay sunny with a high in the middle 60’s.

Yesterday started with breakfast with the professor, then load up the KubVan with tools, head to Home Depot for lumber, and off to the RC field. I have come to the realization that I am a better chief than I am an Indian. It was difficult to follow the leader and do things the hard way, but I sucked it up and followed the program, keeping my frustration to myself until we finished around 2.
I was definitely ready for lunch by then, stopped by the restaurant and had a nice lunch, and another little project. They had a stainless drawer with an adjustable frame that held food containers that had a poor weld repair done earlier in its life. I took the frame home with me and cut out the goobered up bracket with a dremel cut off wheel. Fabricated a new piece and TIG welded it together. Took it back and installed it, everything fit and worked well.
Hustled back home and hopped on the Lazer, grandson heard it and came up to help.
We got out the tractor and hooked up the progressive and got right to mowing. He started falling asleep again, this time I suggested he go in the house with Nanni, and he took the advice. So I finished without him and got everything put away before dark.

The mower decks are all rear discharge which is great for distributing the clippings but the rear deck gets buried with them.

If you didn’t blow it off after every use, the deck wouldn’t last very long. I leave the belt guards off so it can be cleaned off completely.

This morning is back to speakers, then after lunch it’s off to Martha’s Vineyard via Ogdensburg. Then Airport Authority meeting this evening, won’t be a lot of down time today.

Morning 43 going up to 70 and the sun will come up today.
Wife got pretty ill from shingles 2nd shot yesterday, feeling a bit better today.
I had a rough night, will see if I can move up my MRI.

Got nothing done as had to shuttle son around while wife was napping.

With all the people added to the roster of the insured, Dr's are overloaded and no one made plans for all the new people with health insurance. New rules added without thought of consequence. More government failures.

Be well,

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 5:45AM. Abundant sunshine. High 73F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
Yesterday was drizzly, but only registered 0.01" of accumulation. I heard rain earlier this morning, but nothing measurable. Looks like a bit more rain for Monday.

It was hard going through all my parent's things after they passed, Don, but the auctioneers were a huge help. I didn't keep much, and didn't even attend the auction. I was told it was well attended, but was disappointed in the proceeds. But I was also told before hand not to expect much. The important thing is that the house was finally empty and could be put on the market.

Yesterday started with bundling cardboard for recycling, then flying a desk doing paperwork the rest of the day. I did get a start with CAD layouts for rooms in the new house, so that'll be the focus for today.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

Be well,
I've heard of a lot of people that had sore arms or not feeling good after the shingles vaccine shots, I guess I'm one of the more fortunate ones. No soreness or issues with either shot, got my second one yesterday also.

Now you know why I smoke so much hash, when I am not working or driving anywhere.
Good Morning Looking4new,
Dont they have mandatory drug tests for truck drivers in Canada ? I got tested 3 times last year, and again last week, thought it was kind of hillarious at my age !

Good morning. Another rainy day yesterday so no outdoor work. But a happy day as I managed to pick ip a used jetski trailer for my third Sea Doo that I am selling. (Tried selling it this summer, but no one seem to be interested without a trailer.)

Great price, too! ($500 CDN)

Today is much less rainy, so I may be able to get the docks disconnected for winter.

Got a start mowing yesterday but needed to make a trip to town for diesel and gas.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

spent hours on the phone making reservations for trip to Florida. 13 different campgrounds, including several parks.
worked ok except for two night minimum on Thanksgiving, so looks like I'll be baking a small turkey
on Thanksgiving in the oven near Holden Beach NC. Having a two nighter is good after five days of driving.

now headed outside to enjoy a little sunshine.
really should go down and get a flu shot. Pharmacy said they ran out of covid shots. I'm on their call list, been a week.
probably should try somewhere else.

62F and sunny @ 14:00, heading up to around 65F for the high. Low here this morning was 40.8F.

Got 80% of the lawn mowed down here around the house and the leaves mulched yesterday, still a lot more to fall.

Discovered about a dozen deer inside the garden the other day. A few have been been intruding here and there. Monofilament fence pretty much torn down at this point.

They really did a number on the strawberry plants, mostly nipping off the greenery.

Unclogged the stink juice sprayer and gave all the plant a good spraying last evening.

Also put up a HF wireless infrared alarm on the pump house ... hopefully the noise will deter them.

Have cabbage and peppers that need harvested.

Got Cycle Sensor and Cycle Stop Valve ordered and they are on their way, UPS says they will be here Monday.

Left brine valve cap to soak until last evening, cleaned up nice.

Need to refill Water Buffalo today so the grass seed can be watered, probably work on melting more holes in the weed block fabric so the strawberries in pots can be planted.

Hope everyone is having a decent Wednesday ... (y)
