I'd never heard of Paul Wisconsin and googled it and it does not exist. You show it as a dealer  Or is it the names of people?
:ROFLMAO: Like other guy that corrected you. C. Paul and he is from WI ;)

The less China stuff I buy the happier I am. Pretty soon if it keeps going the way it is, we will all be eating raw fish with chopsticks.

Pretty sure he was bragging on his $99 China copies of the chain grinders too. Like 2 of them now.

Guess you can have it both ways. China flip flop when convenient 😂

If you like to buy Chinese products, I suggest you go live there. Maybe you can see what they do to their own people. Then it could be you they come for.

No problem about you trying to avoid "Chinese stuff", me too as best as I can.

But looks like you may be lacking in Chinese food experience and that's OK no big deal - I try to avoid it also, except in places like Vancouver where you can find it close to authentic and prepared under US or Canadian health & food standards.

Any Chinese food I have ever had or seen was certainly cooked.

It's the Japanese who eat raw fish with chopsticks, not Chinese!

You guys are so far behind. Stihl has been using and investing millions and millions of dollars there for 10-15 years and still raising our cost. Husky, Makita, Echo etc etc all do it.

Just like the item your posting from made in china. You been doing it for so many years your just clueless.

Whatever... I prefer Beef myself. Far as buying Chinese knockoff saws. Not in my wheelhouse, like I said, bought one a while ago and gave it away to a buddy. Was not impressed.

Yes we knew this - your TV, radio, phone and computer etc. etc. were most likely made there, and so is most hardware at a local hardware store.

Sad, but there is only one way to chance this and we will not get to that on this forum.

No point really, it is what it s and all you can do to mitigate it is, refrain from purchasing goods that come in overseas containers.

The one you bought was a 25cc china copy of a japan saw. Even the japan saw isnt that great. Why it was no longer offered by zenoah or the husky labeled one from many years ago.

I bought one for $99 too from Farmertec though. Not that other smaller clone company you used. It run and cut like a 25cc.
But I also know how to set saws up and tune them too. Local liked it more then me so I let him take it home for his uses.

Myself I prefer the $200 35cc G111 copy of the old stihl 200T. Now that saw cuts just like my OEM one did.

It's Very difficult to source everyday needed products without them coming from China. Over on the welding side there are a lot of people who still think Lincoln and Miller are made in USA.

G111 reminds me of Mac 140 I had long time ago and learned to hate it due to handles so close together. It was the wrong type small saw saw for general all around use, but I did not know better at the time.

I realize 200T is meant for climbers and serves that purpose.

G111 = 200T. Then pic mac TH. Dad bought the mac new 79 or early 80's. I hated that saw and no comparison. Except top handle too.

Take my bought new in 94 poulan 2000 over that mac any day. So did dad when I gave him the poulan later on.

Buying a Stihl, Husky or whatever "Name Brand" with a few Chinese parts is completely different from buying a Chinese company's saw that is clearly a reverse engineered knock-off. These companies don't innovate, they don't research, and they don't support their product well.

Let me add that factory X,Y or C is asked to make some part. You can ordered good ones with tight tolerances or less costly ones with much greater tolerances or materials. For the same reason you see less costly tractors coming out of some factory that also builds better ones. See you can ordered whatever grade you like.... Same factory does not = the same quality of everything they manufacture.

What I find even more funny then crying about china chainsaws. Nobody complains about the honda clones.

Folks been buying the China Honda clone motors for close to 20 years now. Cheap re-powering their tillers, mowers, splitters etc etc.

Heck we buy them 6.5hp clone motors for 100-130 and then sink close to 1500 in one to put 17hp-22hp out of them for racing.

Reason the folks buy the China clone saws. Again more cc for 300 bucks to your door. Another big one IMO is these are the saws we grew up with and loved.

Lot of folks in the firewood cutting despise these new saws today.

I wonder if those on here that like Chinese knock offs would like them if it was their own research, their own design, their own blood, sweat and tears that built, marketed and sold a product only to see some Chinese company copy the design and cut into or push them out of business. I bet not.
