Missing nothing except the Stihl inflated price. I have one plus an Echo top handle arborists saw and both are just peachy. The Timber Bear 590 also has a 5year warranty on it. I run a 20" roller nose bar on mine and full tooth chipper (325 chain)I made a stop at our Echo dealer; the CS-590 seems great too but at the price point I wonder what might be missing?

The 261 has 33% more power to the bar than the 250…5 extra cc. That’s a fairly significant power increase, not really even comparable saws.

Candidly, I'm done with Stihl. Too expensive for my blood.
isn't this statement conflicting since speed is hp ? ... hp is how fast something can go and torque is how quick it get to that speed.With chainsaws, horsepower is much less important than delivered torque and chain speed.
