69°F and .56 inches rain.

Nice relaxing day yesterday. Did get the pool chemistry a bit closer, another adjustment today.

Guys lost at Hand & Foot last night. Reasonably close game, but we trailed start to finish.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Morning all, was cold this morning at 57, now up to 73 and sunny.
Day off and Dr. visits , errands etc.
Lost 10lbs in 2 months, with no diet changes, lots of tests lined up.

Hummingbirds got upset with us as I forgot to fill the feeder this morning, now filled.
They come over to the sliding door about 15' from the feeder and were staring at us this morning until we filled it. They must watch me fill it each time as they know where to hover for me to see them from the kitchen.

Be well,

Went and grabbed some more peaches from the tree out back

Pruning services keep coming back daily

Cooked down some of the figs, probably a few more pounds ready to harvest. I let the birds take most of them from the tree.

Good morning! Low of 54°, but heading up to 90°, about 8° above our 'normal' high for this time of year. Supposedly going to hover at the 90 mark all next week.
Unfortunately, also no rain.......

Speaking about no rain.... I realized that I haven't cut the fields since last year..... only a few tall grass sprigs....everything else is just crunchy.

Kilroy, you cracked me up with the asteroid pics.....

Kyle, sorry to hear about the son's pain. Hopefully he'll get relief soon.

David, glad Sophie is back and the 'boys' are now happy... I bet you are too!

Buppies, hope you can get the sugar levels down. Any clue as to why it's gone so high?

Thomas, you should start charging admission for the show...

Successful day gathering materials yesterday, but frustrating to say the least. Had to get the store manager involved to get the employees motivated.... at least I got a discount for the hassle.

Today's agenda will be to unload and stage the material, reroute the drip line, and possibly start to dig the hole to transplant the pesky shrub.

I hope everyone has a great day and start to the weekend!
Mission accomplished! 😎👍

75F and "Fair" @ 13:00, heading up to around 79F for the days high. Low this morning was 54.1F.

Refilled hopper and both tube feeders first thing yesterday.

Then started on mowing front lawn.

Took a break about halfway through that once the Woman got back to run the van over to relatives and unload items for the yard sale. Unfortunately was not able to unload a large table and some clothes ... :(

But there should be enough room in there now that I can slide the table towards the front and run down to Menards and pick up the fertilizer ... (y)

Trimmed down the weeds around the tulip tree after I finished up the mowing. Need to spray around that today.

Went back and assessed the strawberry runners that I had pinned down in pots and watered all of them. It's been around 4 weeks IIRC since I pinned them down, so will probably trim them off today and start getting them planted.

Will likely have more runners that can be pinned down into the ground or pots. Should have just enough good weather left to get them started and well-established before the bad weather gets here. Hopefully get another 20 - 30 plants.

Probably pick whatever is ready in the garden.

Plus whatever else comes up.

Woman currently over at the yard sale.

Hope everyone is having a decent Friday ... (y)

Stopped at the antique store and picked up the stove.

Mrs found wone chimes she liked.

I got another vintage tool, a beam drill.

Stove, spud and drill:

Ouch, Frits. Looks like Zion spared the sofa.

Makani has a thing for doggy pillows. Has managed to tear up two, but his thing is to drag it thru the doggy door and I guess he doesn’t really care if it comes in 1 piece or multiple. Our way to save the pillows is lock the pillows in the crate.

54°F and crystal clear skies this morning, going up to 83° today. Only got up to 79° yesterday. Chamber of Commerce weather around here this week.

Day off from work today to celebrate The Wife and my 10/20 Anniversary; 20 years since first date (again), and 10 married.
Luckiest guy on the planet.

Starlink has been working great. Got the email yesterday that they've already upgraded us from "Best Effort" to full Residential status. So, I did a speed test, and it was at 130Mbps download. That's literally 100x faster than we were getting from HughesNet. Internet access as it's supposed to be. Got the adapter this week, so we got the Nest extenders connected now, which also means all of our outside WiFi cameras are working again. Wife was giggling this morning at how fast internet is now. I did another speed test, and got 200Mbps. I'm OK with this.

Opportunity rich environment here for the long holiday weekend.

Hope everyone is well.

Good afternoon, gents.

Try the PureGas website for E0 gas stations.

I used to like the NoSpill cans, but the trigger spring on the last one I got was so stiff it was difficult to use. More government over reach I suppose.
I used that website once, and it told me one of the stations in town had E0. Went there, and they did not.

I never liked those NoSpill cans, but I've been using them because they've been the best option so far. I had one split along the side handle a couple years ago, and another has split this year along the top handle seam.
Man, my kingdom for a decent gas can (and real gasoline).
