I welded a heavy wall 2X2 angle iron across the top of my bucket to attach chain hooks to. Preventive modification. If the welds were not so ugly, I'ld post a picture ;-)

The problem with reinforcing your bucket ( with pretty or ugly welds) the weight of the additional iron reduces the weight capacity of your loader for each load

Lol. The few times I have posted a pic on here, I have reviewed the pic first for anything embarrassing before posting it….

I can f up with the best of people and I choose to only let certain people pick me apart, if I can help it!

Funny. I don't care. I post my pics but I have thick skin If I like the advice I take it. If they are annoying I ignore them. I've seen hundreds of buckets bent up like yours. It will only get worse. I'm not a good welder either but your bad welds are the only thing I really noticed. Keep practicing.

I think you quoted the wrong person.

1). I’m a pretty fair welder
2). Unless the welds are pristine I don’t post
3) my seat is still the factory seat, almost in the same shape it was 14 years ago

Appreciate the OP posting his equipment modifications. Making things that work for you with what you have important. Different ideas, learning, practicing, improving skills, improving designs, and enjoying your creations a worthy experience. Few things are perfect the first time. I share ideas because I enjoying seeing things other people try. Never met anyone I couldn’t learn from.
