God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).
59F going to maybe 80F, sunny all day.

Truck went in, techs found rodent damage to wiring. So, between two TPMS sensors and cabling replacement/repairs, dropping about a Grand on this oil change. Still cheaper than buying a new one… truck had to stay overnight, since negative battery cable was not in stock and had to be ordered, hopefully it will arrive earlier in the day rather than later…

71 outside this AM, heading to mid 80's. 87% humidity.
Long week, TGIF.
Started to reassert control over the yard last evening. LOL. Maybe by the end of the day, today, we will have one.
Another groundhog dispatched to the Marine Corp. Lucky number 7.

Good Morning.
64 with a high in the upper 70’s and clear skies for today. A little shower just passed through, less than .1” and that’s it for the day.
Yesterday was a great day, we completed the proving runs satisfactorily. We actually got time off for good behavior, they reduced our requirement by 10 hours. The FAA team was actually great to work with, they were not typical government types.
We had a celebratory dinner afterwards, and I made it home in time to hook up the tractor to the Progressive mower and get the open areas all mowed.
I called my DIL to tell her I was mowing is Luca wanted to help. She laughed and said he heard me and they were already on their way up.
We finished as it was getting dark, but got the mower blown off, parked and the tractor put away before he went home.
I collected the trash and recycling and got it to the street, made some more progress on the lightning repairs, and went to bed and slept like a baby.
Playing music tonight, life is good….

65F low 70's for high misting raing,hour or so heavy rains until noonish follow by t storm rest of the day.
Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...Since weather going to put hold on outside puttering,guess I on computer wildlife files,other than that ???'s and date night.

You probably know BUT
Be extremely careful not to "over use" the other knee.
I "blew out" (technical term for medial collateral ligament injury) my right knee last fall, depended on my left knee too much, "blew out" that one a few months later.
Sort of like getting a flat on a loaded single axle trailer, putting on an iffy spare, shifting the weight to protect the spare, getting a flat on the other side.
I now have about 4 knee braces I cycle through, but can go for weeks without one.

Morning all, 67 going up to 80 and sunny.
Had some rain last night, again. no watering today needed.
Got some peaches from the tree, small but decent. Need to get a few before the critters take them.
Son playing at the VFW tonight, last showing for one of the bands he is in as 2 members leave for college.
Order is in for garage sheetrock and some electrical work. Should arrive any day now in many packages.
Work is getting weirder, new boss on one project asked to leave early, so 4th boss on this one project since start of the year. New, New, New, New boss has little experience running large programs, so we will support her and hope for the best.
I update GM pretty late every day since I usually do it after the first round of morning meetings. Having the team for this one project all in the UK and no through to spreading the team to the major sites, makes it hard to get things done.
