Operator problem. Using the TBN app on ipad when typing in the reply window it’s possible to touch outside the window and lose it completely. Usually happens to me if a long answer that I’m scrolling to proofread. Errant finger and POOF

Good morning! 81˚F, heading into the hundreds again. No rain.
Every day we are less in the 70s and more in the 100s.

We now have a report of a Lexus RX350 being the victim of an exploding spray paint can in the garage because of the intense heat.

My dad named the cat "Tweety" but we have been changing his name to "Hospice" since he is 18 years old. I must admit he is putting on a little weight and his short haircut is growing out so he does look a little better especially after his two baths and being in air-conditioning. He likes his walk abouts in the house and back porch in the morning.

We had a good day of organizing at the estate house but because of the heat we only got half of the attic cleaned out in the morning, our "finds" included some old TI calculators, old jars with glass lids, a meat grinder and an old German made clock. The clock was missing the minute hand and the spinning pendulum was not connected.

looks like I have to buy a new weather station.
I thought the batteries had died on the outside unit, but no batteries, solar powered.
no obstruction or clog in rain cup, sensor has simply failed. Lasted three years. ?
I'm happy in the 150 range, not 400, so will see what is high rated on Amazon.

Does your weather station only operate when it is sunny outside. It has to have batteries.

Been up late, now up early again. Twice this week. Running low on energy, but have to get going. Same as Buppies. Git 'er done work ethic.

I need to find a cubby hole at work to hide at lunch and take a nap.....but I don't sleep well in a chair.

A brush fire broke out near Bastrop Texas again. Not far from where the devastating fire broke out about 10 years ago.

Even with the solar there are batteries in there somewhere…
