oh my, found out I have another illness today
cucumber blindness is the term
cause of oversize cucumbers
It is also known as “cucumber blindness”. The gardener can’t see them until they are blimps.
One day it’s a gherkin, next day it’s a blimp.
I now have three blimps. I call veggies like this "hiders" because they sure do

going to peel them, scoop out the seeds,and mince them into something
I much prefer them when they are pickle size
found that one of the dark tomatoes had split from all the rain, that one is for my dinner tonight. Or a sandwich.
I eat the bad ones, give the nice ones away. Still have plenty left coming in to put away.
washed half the rv, glad I got that done. going to be a broiler today.
that's it for my outside activities, maybe do a little weeding later
also need to call some local truck dealers and see what they say about ordering a new truck.

Morning , 76 going up to 95 and sunny.
Did some errands and worked on bench project a bit.
Outside work too hot.
Chimney people scheduled for two weeks out to replace crown and re-point.
The Chimney is 14' x 3' and all this will cost us $3K
Still trying to get wife to decide on chimney caps......
Hope to get another sand/coat to top of bench today and prepare it for legs tomorrow and another coat of varnish.

Gotta love it when one gets volunteer blind sided etc. into something that one has very little interest...another reason why they made drive thru.Mrs wanted to go on a weight loss program. So now we are on this program. It is day three and I am ready to eat the headrests out of the car

Wil be another 105 degree scorcher today. Got some work done yesterday evening on the brush hog conversion. Mostly got the new chain guard cut and tacked in place. TGIF

70F clear sky 90's for high...3H day.
E muffin than outside at crack of dawn started rattling around getting this and that done before mercury started to rise,soon headed to make dump run and critter food stop.
Rest of the day keep low and cool until date night.

good morning, 79 going to 94 today no rain
Today is more of the same with some trimming with the Makita. Some excavator work continuing cleaning up the boulders and rocks and filling with soil
Mostly, yes the sunflowers came up in the grass I guess from prior plantings with seeds left. Did not water or anything and dry as it is surprising they did this well.
Roasted a couple of peppers yesterday and today will peel them.

Our high was 92° yesterday, now 83°
Wasn’t our hottest of the year, but today might be. But it’s the end of July, so this is normal.
David, dog looked quite comfy.
My son drowns veggies in ketchup.
Buppies, take it easy in the heat.
Gas prices up here also.
Will work on wife’s pics today. What a mess. I back mine up constantly to computer and date and keep organized, she doesn’t do a thing. I have a directory on my computer where I downloaded everything. To preserve the picture date I can’t just do a windows copy to her phone. I did find the iPhone pic app will let you modify the date, but don’t want to do that for 1200 pics.
