Never figured this out, but if you are driving between Seattle and Tacoma in Washington State the rules are reversed. The fast lane is the Right lane and the slow lane is the Left lane. It is the only place in the US, I've ever seen this as a common convention. Every time I get past Olympia, I have to remind myself that the driving rules are going to get flipped.
That is common in north Alabama during rush hour. Any time the road gets busy people park in the left lane rather than deal with merging and exiting traffic in the right lane.

Detroit area, Telegraph Rd, I had my 1980 Datsun 4x4 2 L engine. Leaving Square Lake Rd going south me and a Porche 911 take off, I get

to 53 mph, but the Porche nails the line and is waiting for me at the next light. The light is green when I get there and I drive through,

along comes the Porche and passes me and is waiting for me at the next light which turn green when I get there. This goes on for 10 lights.

Reminds me of a period of time I used to commute on a busy mountain highway (17, from SC to SJ) driving a '77 VW Bus (Westphalia)... the sheer joy of put-putting up and over the hill at 45 max going up some of the hills but it not mattering because I drove strategically... getting to my exit just ahead of other cars that had quite obviously passed me five times along the way

I figured he'd be fine as long as he's going straight as he probably can't steer with the front wheels barely if at all touching the ground

and then remembered that's a front wheel drive....

One wonders how, if they had the equipment to get that tree into the van like that, they didn't also have proper equipment to haul it.

Not my idea of camping (I don't care for trailers) nor my style in general, but

Specifics:
  • 80kWh battery on-board
  • "Range assist" detects when the truck is pulling and it has on-board motor to assist -- they claim zero reduction in tow vehicle range
  • 3kW solar
  • Fully electric - mini split HVAC, fridge, has a dishwasher because they say with all the electrics your off-grid time will be limited by water and dishwasher uses less water than hand washing (assuming full dishwasher)
  • In the lowered position there's still some room between the ceiling and counters and apparently a 16' kayak will fit without being crushed
  • $125K (🤣)

What is so funny about $125k? In that market one can easily spend $1M on a Provost diesel pusher.

I wonder if the smilies mean "yeah, right" on that price. Agree that $125k doesn't necessarily buy a lot in that category.

I wouldn't want to behind him on motorcycle.
It was packed well. Picture taken 20 miles after loading, before unloading. Nothing was going to come out, it was secured down and secured forward.

This is unloading:

Yeah, those tower sections give plenty of places to secure them to your truck. Ain't going anywhere!
