JD BB1048L Box Blade Value?

Going to be listing a JD BB1048L box blade I don't need. It is in great shape with little use and is complete with no damage.

What do you think is the upper end for an asking price? I intend to start high and see what happens. Don't need to sell.

I see used, good condition BB2048L's going as much as $1300.

So, your not going to like what I say; you're competing against all other box blades on marketplace; and they go for anywhere from $300 to $1200. Being in perfect shape adds some value; but an ugly box blade is still a functional box blade. I would be surprised is you got over $750 actual sale price. This 48" near new Frontier BB just sold locally with an asking price of $450 (don't know what it actually sold for; but for arguments sake, let's say they got $450 for it).

In my "area" 4 foot ones are scarce as are 4 foot brush hogs.
I was actually thinking to start at $750 or so and see. No hurry to sell so it can sit!

And hey, I got it with a tractor I purchased so why not try to get every penny out of it and reduce overall cost on the tractor!!
Buyers know what they want to pay so we'll see!

I wouldnt think a 4ft wide tractor would do any damage to even a economy quality box blade.
