We hit 82° today.
Ran out and got general tso for supper.
Then I fixed the BH dolly with some timber locs lags. Let’s see if they hold, BH is on the dolly now.

Mixed and sprayed 2 gal of weed juice, mixed 2 gal more.
Son mowed front and back to the field.
Neighbor mowing, farmer planting across the road. Big case with a loud hydro whine. He stopped and did a regen.lilac blooms are gone, locust tree blooms about gone.
Saw my first hummingbird today.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll get blades sharpened.

Unlikely to see one here in Oz but 12 HP doesn't sound a lot even for a 39" cut. Probably possible to fit a bigger donkey in it if needed.

My old wheelhouse is 12 hp. That was big engine 35-40 years ago. It might have 36” deck, I forget. I need to get it running again. A couple years later they became Toro.

70F clear sky high temp of 78F.

Work day was burr I was hoping 2 cords of wood were waiting for me...not to be.

Woke up trimmer from it's long winter nap and took it for an hour walk,sfterwards woke up 1 of rider mowers from hibernation,gave it new filters fluids and blades and went for ride,afterwards mower got bubble bath.

Very soon heading for the deck to enjoy smooth cigar wait for critters and stars.

Day went by pretty quick. Appointment done and over with. By the time I got home, the wind was still ripping, so made philly cheesesteaks and fries for dinner.

16:00 and wind still going strong..... wifey said forget going outside.... who am I to argue? Local weather reporting wind should diminish after 20:00.....

The new weather forecast is predicting good chances of rain for the entirety of next week. The best chances for Sun / Mon.

Just going to relax this evening..... I have misplaced my energy again..... it's probably somewhere under the bed.... the last two nights of trying to sleep resulted in a bunch of tossing and turning..... it must have fallen out during one of the flops.....

Picked up a large "postcard" in the mail today, from LS tractor. Apparently my tractor dealer, RCO Tractor down outside of Austin is no more...... "due to sudden unexpected circumstances". Wow, they even opened a second location up in Greenville a couple years ago. I'm going to have to make some calls and find out what happened.

It's one of the few places that I would trust a deal made on a handshake. I hope nothing happened to the owner... family run.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 5.4C and it's presently 15.5C, a high overcast sky with light variable wind. The 'Guessers' are covering their arse with the chance of a shower.

As I mentioned yesterday, I'll be transferring the horses into Paddock #5 (water trough shift & a new round of hay). Which probably means that tomorrow will be cleaning up Paddock #4 (chain-harrow & z-turn mulch).

I do need to give myself a hair cut and clean up my scraggly beard... rogue hairs are going everywhere.
