Good evening all. 28ºF for the start, partly cloudy light breeze. Moderate wind, sky clouded up the started clearing off, and high temp was 49ºF, forecast was for 55ºF. Bike to start morning, front tire was losing air near end of ride, did make to driveway. 2 hr nap after lunch and took wife to daughter's church Valentines dinner. Quiz show based on Newly Wed show and trio (2 guitar and bass) sang several songs.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

Got a haircut that was several weeks overdue, and bought a new Craftsman 247pc ratchet set,a crew driver set, and 20 steel TPostsand a post pounder. Also got two plastic rollling growing bins to try with elderberry again - they should prevent the moles from attacking! Lowe’s also has chicken scratch grains for 14.99 - it is a 40lb bag. Regular bird seed mix is 9.99/bag but it is only a 20lb bag, so I bought three bags.

I have also discovered that the dumbass builder or our house (the same one that put the HVAC exchangers underneath the bedroom windows instead of the blank wall in the livingroom where the tv goes) installed the foundation vents in the concrete blocks but never sealed the tops where they meet the void spaces in the blocks, so they do absolutely ZERO for keeping out critters! But unless you stick your hand up and into the block, they look just fine. So now I have to seal up 15 vents. Dumbass. Too cold to mortar them up, so I will probably stuff the voids with wads of steel wool. Of course I didn’t find that out until after yesterday’s Lowe’s trip. . .

Today the plan is that, after church, head up to the woodlot and pound in the fenceposts, and maybe even string some barbed wire, depending on how the time and weather cooperate.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...soon continue picking up limbs branches. Do walk around Kubota with grease gun wrenches than diesel her up,by the sounds couple storm coming mid week on. May watch some NASCAR just not exciting as it was 20+ ago....looks like putter day.

Agreed Thomas and yes storms coming three probably last gasp of winter. Picked up car yesterday at shop now good to go, we do not use her much but great travel car low miles 36000 on 2016.

Took wife to dinner in Winston Salem her favorite place she really enjoyed Milners

Morning all, 40 going up to 56 and partly cloudy.
Got the large fallen branch cut up with the pole saw, sharpened the chain, did some more.
All at least moved off of septic mound.
Kid off to see concert in Phllly, which was in a skate park.
Then off to have a drink at the taco place.
Home for movies.
Today should be able to get garden ornamental grass cleaned up and maybe some brushcutter work
Also did some vine removal from inside large hedges, birds do a good job at spreading those seeds.

Sophie’s laundry room has 5 new wire shelves, approx 18ft. Basically, that is end of the construction. Today, will be clean up, put tools away etc. maybe even get a pic or two. Otherwise back to energy conservation.

The washer/dryer swap out would occur before end of the week. Still need to convert the new dryer to Propane.

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Sunday.

we had more snow this week, so tractor time is coming.

I'm spending more time in the kitchen, because I can. Meals, smoothies etc ... I'm doing okay, experimenting a bit.

It's been another challenging week ... first time in 27 yrs that I did NOT have a Valentine , however some friends checked in on me, so that was nice. Nothing really new here yet, but i am doing my best to get things resolved here, or at least moving forward. She does not want to even consider reconciliation, after abandoning me 18 months ago (for a year up North to assist her family). It's tough, but I'll get through it - and it will be better. My Counselling appointments help me cope with the changes. My thoughts are all over the place - Her general health issues / mental health issues, our finances?, am I able to afford and keep the house? do I also need to move ?, how many little battles do I put out? I want to plan and look forward to Spring but things need to be sorted also ... getting some Realtor market evaluations in the weeks ahead so that I can at least plan with some range of numbers. A proper official appraisal will follow, for a fee, once we have direction. She sold a car that was registered in my name (long story, challenge of the week). Tough to plan anything when the other party won't speak to you. Anyways, along with the struggles, there were some good moments. I talked to one daughter, and it was my son's birthday (24) was yesterday - so we chatted on the phone. Will call oldest daughter again soon.

I am Trusting God, Waiting on The Lord, and Praying. I am praying that my wife is fully healed Mentally and Physically (as I have sone so for years), even though the marriage has ended. Some close and well meaning friends are still praying for our marriage - acceptable, but I think we are beyond that. I believe that the miracles will occur post marriage for us. I just want her to be happy and healed - we still have 3 independent adult children and a grandson, that we will be involved with. My relationships with them are good, her connections are suffering. That needs to improve.

Anyway, now you know. Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, concerns. I am so far behind on this thread, but I trust that things are going well.

I much prefer the adage HAPPY SPOUSE, HAPPY HOUSE (works both ways, ... ideally)
