Good Morning!!!! 42F @ 5:30AM. Sunny. High 59F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
Yesterday's forecast called for snow, and snow it did. One very large, very dark cloud approached from the north, the wind picked up, the temperature plummeted, and I headed for the barn on the tractor. And I watched out the window as tiny wet flakes fell for a few minutes, not even enough to wet the concrete. That was plenty, though.
Double rainbow! Did you find the pot of gold at the end, David?
Cut the trunk off the stump using the little Makita electric saw, which continues to amaze me with what it'll do. Still couldn't move the stump up the hill with a chain, so ended up flipping it over with the FEL until it was far enough along I had dry dirt under the wheels. Left a big drag mark, but the field grass will soon fill that over. Gathered up a bunch more sticks and added them to the stump to start a new burn pile, but will need the landscape rake to do that job right. The snow cloud came in and finished that effort for the afternoon.
New o-ring lined sealing washer showed up, so stuck one on the leaky oil drain plug on the Ford. I'll know this morning if it did the trick.
Got a trip to town on for today, groceries and trips to the Ford and VW dealers so see about vehicles. Probably not much more will get done.

We have a two bulb motion sensitive flood light base. It's all metal. I got it at Walmart for somewhere around $16. But that was 4 years ago..... It's probably more now. The bulbs were more expensive, I think about $16 each. Those I got at Home Depot. I believe 250W equivalent LED floods. They do light up the backyard nicely.Good morning to all. High today near 80, then another front with 20-25 drop. Have to work on taxes if I can squeeze that in. Will try to get to the American Legion coffee meeting this morning.
Needing an "industrial" quality flood light (2 bulb). Want one with a motion sensor to mount on the outside of my metal shop. Want quality and weather "proof". The models I have so far seen are "weather resistant" and many have "plastic housings", some the bulbs are not replaceable! My preference would be a "normal floodlight bulb that I can find when replacement is needed" not a square LED type that I have to order somewhere. This unit will be in the Texas sun all day. NOTHING plastic lasts here for long. Any suggestions where to buy?

I like the Rheem Marathon. Used to be most energy efficient, don’t know if it still is. Sure is pricey.

Driveway alarm been working good since I moved it to other side of drive and adjusted it. Need to bury it now
Woke up several times in night, throat little sore, getting sinus gunk. Uh oh.
Took wife out for early supper last night. Had to deal with traffic, yuck.
Rack ribs at Texas Roadhouse were little dry, the onion was good. Brought home leftovers for lunch. Didn’t even cut the cheesecake wife picked up at Costco yesterday.
Did Jack up Subaru and shake each tire trying to find if bearing loose. Didn’t notice anything unusual.
Eyes little blurry this morning, usually from lack of sleep, or staring at phone too long.

Good morning to all! Low of 23°, only going up to 27°. Currently the temp is 22°?? .... I guess a 'new' low..... It's still snowing, but the winds kicked up about a half hour ago. I hope we don't get another big drift.
The crud is trying to hold on to its grip desperately..... just some junky congestion this morning and associated cough. As soon as I get the nose cleared, the coughing stops. Just the remnants, I suppose.
Fritz, you can try and test the thermocouple. Usually they are the troublemakers. Not too expensive to replace.
After years of standard WHs, we went with a condensing tankless propane WH. It's 199K BTU, 98% efficiency. The venting is PVC pipe. We will never go back to a tank WH. It's really nice to never run out of hot water....
Another inside day for sure.... not sure what, if anything I'll get into. One possibility is to adjust a barn door track. I knew one of the lags stripped out when I installed it. Might take the opportunity to fill the hole with some shims and glue and get the lag reset. It's where 2 pieces of track join, one side has dropped about a 1/16", but causes the hanging door to 'bang' when the roller goes across. ...... it's starting to annoy me.....

Paul, that's one big pile of s*@&..... I mean manure.....Good that you have a place to take it to..... I still remember all the farm dumping the manure out on the fields along 313 just outside of Doylestown. Stunk up the whole area.....
