I just don't get why people buy at dollar general and why they put so many of them up. When I go into Mountain City Tenn. I can drive past 3 of them in about a 10 mile span.

The presence of a lot of auto parts businesses and retail discount dollar stores (generally speaking) are sometimes indicators of low community income and generally aren't indicators that the community is doing well financially. You don't see diamond brokers or custom suit tailors in my community.

I have been able to get away with doing a lot of crazy and stupid stuff over the years (45). But this week out of all the year, I don't. Three special days I must remember Bday (8th), Anniversary (12th), and V-day). Even though I jut gave her the card at 8:00pm. But I got away with it.

I admit I shop at DG a good bit. It's just me, and there are two that are within 10 miles or less from me. And since I'm in their target group, it's a good fit for me.

I raise my own beef, so I don't need much.
The DG's that are close are the type stores that sell some produce.

About the only time I shop at DG is when I get a sudden craving for Oreos, they have them for a pretty good price. The last count I heard, there were over 30 of them in the county. There are three on SR15 in an eight mile stretch.

I made a rose out of red and green duct tape many years ago.
She liked it so much I switched to plastic also.
When she sets them all out at once, the place looks like a flower shop.
