Good morning!!!!

39 outside this AM. Be lucky to touch 50 today. Rain moving through later. Sigh.

Managed to get all the little necessities done yesterday. As expected took all day. Got home in time to fill a driveway rut that has been filling with standing water for a while. Guess gravel is on the order list soon.

We shall see what today brings, maybe just take it easy.

wngsprd, for photo editing, on Windows, you can use the age old Microsoft Paint program. It has a quick resizer function. No need to load anything more complex. Online, well, pixlr was something I used in the past.

Hope all have a great day, be safe. Get or stay healthy.

Good morning, low temp is 20 and going to a high of 27°F. Wind ENE 14 gusting to 21 mph. Snow starting this afternoon and continuing overnight. About 4" forecast, we'll see.

When I am resizing pictures in windows, I right click on the pic, open with and choose 'paint', and change them to 480 X ??? using the 'maintain aspect ratio'. That way the pic doesn't get all skewed out of shape. Then save the smaller pic to replace the big one you just reduced in size.

Yellow ears is posing for you.

24 bux a bag for lay pellets sounds like a good price to me. But if you want to keep your scheckles in your pockets, then 6 doz. eggs sounds better.

A town and dump run today about noonish, then home to watch the snow accumulate.

Have a safe day all
Just figgerin’ how many to sell to offset the outlay on the front end 😁

Good Morning.
It’s 35 with a high of 40 in the rain today. Hasn’t started yet, but will rain all day and overnight.

Yesterday, had a vice breakfast where we discussed what our kids will do with our “stuff” once it becomes their stuff, and the state of the union. That part was interesting, as Rich retired as a constitutional history professor after an earlier career as a partner in a Manhattan law firm.

Then it was back to work on the TV and internet project which is just about complete. Here’s the wall plate for the HDMI and optical connections.

Also glued up this shelf for the center channel speaker that used to sit on top of the old monster TV.

I’ll make or buy some hidden brackets for it today and get it installed.

Overall, I’m pleased with the speed of the internet, this is on my iPad two floors above the WI-FI router, without the mesh extenders that Verizon hasn’t sent yet.

I did manage to get to the Bridgeport and make some chips as well as the part that I lost for my sight pusher.

Zoe sleeps in the kitchen, I put a camera there so that we can see what she is up to. Keep in mind that she is only 12 weeks old, and the camera is on the kitchen counter.

Today I’ll continue yesterdays projects starting with getting the shelf installed. I’ll have to get a couple of briskets ready to go into the smoker this evening for tomorrow’s dinner, one will go to the restaurant though, as it’s not much more work or time to make two than one.

Good morning to everyone,
Presently it is 47F under cloudy skies with a bit of fog after an overnight low of 43. Todays forecast is for cloudy skies, high of 56 with light rain moving in later this afternoon.

Cleaned the carb on my chainsaw, sorted out the jigsaw puzzle that is the throttle linkage on the saw and put everything back together. Hope to try it out this afternoon before the rains move in.

Took the drone out to take some pictures of what the contractor did. All he did was lay out the building and mark where the 25 8x8 posts and 2 6x6 posts are going to go. Friday he starts digging the holes to put the posts in.

Took the pup for a walk, other than that it was a quiet day.

Liz came home yesterday morning, waiting for today's 'honey do' list.

Have a good day everyone and be careful out there.

Good morning!!!! 41F @ 5:30AM. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High 53F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
Picked up another 3/8" of rain yesterday evening.
No more rain in the 10-day, and lots of sunshine.

Does Zoe's camera have LEDs on the front? That's maybe what attracted her curiosity.

No surprises on yesterday's town run, other than that the plumbing supply place I used changed hands and has a new name. Drove right by it at first, then saw the old name on a parking lot sign. Went in, and it was the same, with the same merchandise and people. Whew! They always seem to have what I need in stock, and will pass along some good advise if asked.

Picked up some Mexican chocolate at the grocery, and added a bar to the shredded beef in the InstaPot. Yazzah, now that's the mole flavor I was lookin' for. Like havin' dessert for dinner.

Pulled out a bag of frozen green chili and some chicken, and will get a batch of green chili chicken stew goiin' this morning. Time to restock on batches of quick dinner meals.

I did get the roof and gutter metal from the flying roof moved and weighted down with bricks, and recovered the six LED fixtures that used to hang underneath it. They're a bit beat up and wet, so I didn't try to plug them in to see if they still work. Maybe after they dry for a few days.

Started coming up to speed on Sprinters. Gosh, there sure are a lot of ditzy VanLifers out there filling YouTube channels up with meaningless fluff. Definitely need to touch bases with my flipper buddy this weekend.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Good morning 35˚F heading to the 60s clear skies wind from the NW changing to the NE by sunset.

Since we only got a few drop of rain yesterday, and I forgot to tun on the lawn irrigation system, I'm turning on each of the 6 areas on this morning for about 10 minutes each.

This is the first week in many months that we have had both FireWise and County park Cedarcide in the same week since we switch to once a month cedarcide. Feeling pretty good - paced myself and hydrated well.

Hopefully the County park will be opened this Spring - a two year delay because of bad work by the contractor that had to get the bonding company involved. Seeing the attraction the "Farm" has in this area I think the park will be very popular. People just want to wander outside and the 1300 acre park is about 30 minutes from the most populated areas.

You definitely have a different perspective on your abilities from age 50 to age 70.

Kyle don't forget to tell your wife about the ag exemption and how to keep it. Finding out how much your yearly taxes would be without it will be the incentive.

Progress at last!

I wish I'd done a better job of using the drone to document some of the projects around here. Had I to do again, I'd mark a takeoff/landing spot, and take videos ascending to a couple hundred feet, then descending. I think that would have made an interesting time lapse sort of video. Yeah, hindsight is always 20/20...

Morning all, 38 and rain, rain etc.
Got some more cleanup of seal where it puffed out between insulation.

BEF - water in bottom trays usually means blocked drain tube for auto defrost.

Wngsprd - MS Paint can change size/resolution/crop pictures

Wire and wire nails ordered for this weekends wire pull, some more ceiling to cut to make that possible.

Be well,
