Good morning!!!!

Coffee is brewing. 33° with rain this morning. Heading to 46° with continued rain. So far we have gotten 1/2" of rain this week. That would be about 6" of snow. Tractor has not moved since I put snow plow on. That was done before Thanksgiving. Snowblower has been sitting in same spot since it was put on. Maybe I shouldn't complain. Checked my TO DO list yesterday. I had a new digital thermostat setting on shelf. Installed it on shop heater. Just have to remember to change it's batteries every year. Going to be a good day to stay in and do some house cleaning and laundry.
Got a little bit of sun yesterday.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

42 going to 56, but more rain.

Yesterday was a nice day until I went under the house to replace the HVAC filters...pinhole leak near the GEO fed water heater...3/4 inch copper...made a temporary fix and need to make a run to hardware to pick up what I don't have in parts and a few spares. It's in a tight space, short run, so not sure whether I can sharkbite it or sweat it.

I did have fun taking the zero turn for a short ride on a warm day just to give it some exercise, send the battery some new juice, and re-park it on different sections of the tires.

Made a warranty claim on my hiking boots...interesting process...submit an online form that included telling them what factory made them, attaching 5 pix: the entire boots, inside tag, receipt, soles, and one showing the problem. I had to email the pix to myself to get them reduced in size enough to attach to their online form...2 year warranty.

I recall some of you have used apps, or websites to reduce the size (or what they called heaviness) of your photos, but I couldn't remember what. I searched on my phone for a choice to take a smaller meg size, and then looked on my laptop for a reducer within the built in Microsoft photo s/w but no luck.

One of the upper eyelets/hooks had pulled completely off the boot about 1/4 into my long hike Tuesday, so they are still functioning. I love these boots, and they are the 8th pair from this company (3rd pair of this model) I have used. I got an email reply within an hour, saying they were processing the claim, and wondered how I use the boots and the type of terrain. If the claim is successful, they will give me a credit on their website. I'll buy the same boots.

Hope you get some sleep, BEF...I was up a good bit during the night, too.

Cute puppies. I have puppy teeth scars on my hands...finally decided to wear gloves when I knew I was going to play hard.

good morning all.
rain is about to start and go all day, likely about an inch. And the ten day has more rain too; ground
is never going to dry out at this rate. I guess that's what makes the flowers grow...

surprisingly warm weather so far other than one earlier cold week.

haircut this afternoon and then school board finance meeting by zoom.
Saturday is an all day "retreat" for the board on campus; hope it will be worth the time.
My experience with these things are they aren't. But it's team work and we rarely see each other any more due to zoom, so
getting together in person has many benefits.

never heard back from guy with local motorhome. Will try to follow up with him today. I'm guessing he got home from Florida
and it wouldn't start...

On windows IRFanView to resize. It’s also what I use to batch date and rename photos.

Top hook came off of my Merrill hiking boots. I just skip it on one foot.

Wife’s 8 yr old android phone giving her problems. Works at home, probably because WiFi calling is set, but doesn’t work on just cell signal. So I’m thinking of upgrading to a new iPhone with more memory, since mine is always full of pictures, and giving her mine.
Wife isn’t sure she wants an iPhone though. She barely used her phone until recently, mostly texting and Facebook.
I don’t understand how Verizon wants $35 upgrade fee if all I do is switch the sim. Looks like I’d have to pay it twice, for me and her.

I’m also researching upgrading our church video projection to a 4K system. Pricing new projector, new computer. I don’t want to move the projector location, so gotta investigate throw distance for our screen size. I believe it’s 12 ft wide screen.
Looks like new projectors use lasers instead of bulbs. It’s been 10 yrs since I last bought one.

Well, we like this person and she likes us, so $4 is a good price all around - 3 dozen eggs buys a 40lb bag for scratch mix at BigBoxHomeImprovement, six dozen buys a bag of layer pellets. Approximately. . .

When I last worried about things like that, I still worried about sprocket hooking, vertical ghosting, and residue on the sound slit 🤣😂🤣

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

well, after doing a little experiment at work, I managed to horrify the head trainer… I basically eliminated all the system-supplied data from the document jobs in a way that would prevent the system from re-applying it, and manually input all the proper data again from scratch. Proceeded to get a whole set of perfect scores.

then I told her what I did, basically proving that the training software is corrupted. . .

I finished with the statement: “ I know I ain’t perfect - but I also know I am nowhere near this bad at this!”

hilarity ensues (or at least it should. . .).

StarLink is still doing AWESOME. The lowest numbers I have seen so far are 7 down and .88 up - and that was retested immediately and was right back in the 70-down and 11 up range - so there might have been a bird sitting on the antenna or something. . .

Coffee good…
Dog came in about 4AM to check on us for some unknown reason. No thunder, no shooting, no antics from the druggies across the street. Up since then, crawled out about 5 AM.

I hope everyone has a wonderful productive happy healthy blessed Friday Eve!

Good morning, low temp is 20 and going to a high of 27°F. Wind ENE 14 gusting to 21 mph. Snow starting this afternoon and continuing overnight. About 4" forecast, we'll see.

When I am resizing pictures in windows, I right click on the pic, open with and choose 'paint', and change them to 480 X ??? using the 'maintain aspect ratio'. That way the pic doesn't get all skewed out of shape. Then save the smaller pic to replace the big one you just reduced in size. This is with windows 10.

Yellow ears is posing for you.

24 bux a bag for lay pellets sounds like a good price to me. But if you want to keep your scheckles in your pockets, then 6 doz. eggs sounds better.

A town and dump run today about noonish, then home to watch the snow accumulate.

Have a safe day all
