17F clear sky mid 30's for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
No flash light needed from sunset to sunrise one could see good distance.
Plains for today...critter food run,fill Mrs. kindling box,check local game cams,put crock pot to work making smokies mini hot dogs with secret sauce,watch the classic Amry Navy game,other than that putter day.

Good morning all. Colder at 30 this morning going to 41 today

Going to pick up a new prescription to replace the recalled one. The Pharmacist was trying to tell me they did not have that one and not to worry. When probing why the Pharmacy had sent me a text about it she finally concluded yes it was recalled and they did not have one from another Mfg. So back to the doctor to get another brand of medication that I will pick up today.

I grew up on the metric system and a year after arriving in California took the professional exam to be licensed as an engineer. The time to constantly convert complicated calculations to the American system was really made easy at the time since HP that year came out with their first calculator which by the way was as big as a bread box. I passed and was licensed thanks in part to HP.

Good Morning
It’s 24 with a high of 40 later in the day. Yesterday was not as cold, but wasn’t warm either.

Yesterday started with changing the oil in wife’s RAV4, after I started draining the oil, I realized that kids changing their oil in my shop used up most of the grade of oil that I needed. A quick trip to TSC remedied that. After the oil change, dropped it off for inspection, stopped at the turkey farm on the way home and got some turkey salami.
Went out for Gyros with wife and a friend to the Q-mart, which is a local farmers market, with many vendors, some not even remotely related to farming.
Had dinner with wife, Son and grandson on our way to pick up her car.

Today I’m off to Palm Beach for what should be my last scheduled trip this year (except for picking up our puppy on 12/26).

In US aviation, ceiling and visibility are reported in feet or miles, but temps are C. The rest of the world uses meters for distance.

Good morning! 31F with fog (and light snow - I see now). Second gun deer season starts today. I have a tag and should be out, but this cough and blah feeling is keeping me in. Antibiotics have not really helped...

Thanks! I had two, both were Series II 1963's. A stock one and I then found a roller and built this one. I sold the stock one when I knew I was moving to Iowa, kept the hot rod.

I don’t get this throwing stuff at snow plow. Thankfully never had it happen the few times I rode in a snowplow. Course we were plowing at night.
Talk about self centered ungrateful people. Where do they think that snow has to go that’s getting plowed with an angled blade? Where they think they are going to go if their driveway is clear and the road isn’t.
