Cat 951B

I own a Cat 951B Traxcavator. While cleaning the Steering Clutch Oil Screen, we found 6 metal objects in the screen; each one is about 3/4" x 3/4"

. Photos are attached. Does anyone know what these are and where they go? We haven't been able to locate them in the Cat service manual.

I have the books for a 951c. I'd imagine that most everything would be the same......... but what isn't?

Thanks for your quick reply. I agree they somewhat look like a bearing cage. However, they were found in the oil screen for the bevel gear and steering clutch housing. I haven't seen any thing in Cat's drawings for my machine that resemble the pieces. However, I'm still looking. Don't want to tear into this thing before I know what I'm looking for.
