I firmly believe my Kubota will significantly outlast me.
But I got a lot of things that will probably do the same.
Heck I got a razor that gonna out live me since Covid rewrote the dress code.

Just noticed our JD dealer has fewer JD's and is now carrying Yanmar tractors. Based on what all are saying this may be a good move for them.

Wow, that is interesting, I wonder how that is going to work out and if it is just that dealer or something we would see at other JD dealers in the future?

Dealer is in Denton Texas. Lawn Land. The JD sign came down this week. Not sure if they are modifying for JD and Yanmar or replacing JD. This dealer is not carrying the heavy duty field tractors so much as the 75 and under HP tractors. It is a good store and purchased many items, sthil from them in the past.

I'm a little surprised that more JD guys aren't flipping to Yanmar since Yanmar builds some of their tractors and most of their SCUT/CUT engines anyways. The savings and performance differences in an apples to apples comparison is pretty significant.

I get it that the dealer network is a bit scarce so hopefully Yanmar can change that in the coming years.

I'm a little surprised that more JD guys aren't flipping to Yanmar since Yanmar builds some of their tractors and most of their SCUT/CUT engines anyways. The savings and performance differences in an apples to apples comparison is pretty significant.

That green paint is pretty sticky and has a mystical power to it.

A JD/Yanmar dealership would be an interesting marriage since they share the same engines in the compact tractor segment. Of course, Yanmar’s iHMT is a much more advanced transmission than anything that JD offers so folks might gravitate towards the Yanmar’s due to the lower price and better transmission in the YT series.
