Start problem Case IH 275 compact

Hi all. Need some help with my 275. Turn key to heat, wait 10 seconds and doesn’t do anything. Can turn key on and jumper from solenoid to starter and starts right up. Have installed new ignition switch, new battery,new cables, jumpered safeties, new starter/solenoid. Any thoughts? Thanks!

That must be a B 275 ?

It sounds like you've overlooked one of the safeties or one of your jumpers is incorrect or not making contact. Note that some safety switches open when activated. You need to understand what the switch is doing and how it works.

It’s not a B275. It’s a 275 compact tractor. Made in 1990. 30hp

I have a 255 and I am currently trying to change the battery. There must be an easy way to remove the hood with a loader frame installed, but I can't find it. The thing worked until it put it into the shop to replace the ground cable from the battery. Now it won't start; in fact when I short the solenoid the starter spins wildly but will not engage.
