Yanmar F18 trans fluid

I have a Yanmar F18. Can someone direct me as to how to change the trans filter and refill? Also, what type of fluid? Thanks.

The only official fluid in Yanmar/John Deere made compacts is Hy-Gard J20C or Yanmar TF500A.

This is talked about frequently in the Yanmar thread sub-section of this forum. Using something different can cause problems. Search the thread there because there are oil manufacture 'meets J20C UTTO' that are acceptable too.

See attached. It's the OE flyer on all vintage and modern lubricants for our machines.

We use the 10W30 diesel engine oil, basically Rotella T4 10W30.
