What ever happened to the engine on this zg222? Inquiring minds want to know.

Still running and cutting grass, need to fix the charging system but I just connect it to a trickle charger when I park it.

New guy here. I'm in the same predicament. Burning oil like crazy. Did compression test with same results as you. Curious if yours is still running. Did you only do rings?

I have a zg222. Had carb problems. Paid bout 700 but it's great now. Meanwhile I looked at harbor freight and they have a 22 horse motor that "looks" like it will fit. Just a thought. Complete engine, 700 dollars
