Regen delete kit

Unfortunately I am not that technically advanced to be able to do that work. No shop will touch it other than LS. LS cannot get parts and they have had it over a month and haven’t even diagnosed the problem. I called around to other state LS dealers. They are all months behind, how they can justify selling those things is beyond ridiculous. I was an idiot and bough one. Once fixed it will be traded in on a MF American Made !!!
MF isn’t American made.

I was at my dealer yesterday picking up some oil and he said so far, parts are not hard to get. Finding shipping that doesn't want exorbitant prices is.

MF isn’t American made.
They are an AGCO brand, which is American owned, but the tractors themselves, like everything else we buy is made in foreign lands.
Mines made in one of the French factories.

It doesn’t really matter where it’s made, what’s important is who‘s standing behind it. I’ve said this before but when you buy a big ticket item like a tractor you’re buying the brand not the machine. Or you should be anyway. Lots of people try to save a buck because they think they can get a similar tractor for a few thousand less than the name brand but you always pay in the end, either with time, money or aggravation. Took me way too many decades to finally learn that lesson. That’s everything in life too, not just tractors.

With that kind of thinking Kubota should never have been successful. Piece of junk from overseas instead of good old American Iron...LOL.

In this case, it appears the issue is with the dealer not the make. I had two dealers I could have bought my LS from, and I paid a bit more to get the better dealer.

If I was planning on putting 400-500 hours a year on a tractor I might have bought the Kubota. For 100 hours a year, and at 70YO, saving over $8000 made more sense than a tractor that might last 5,000 hours more and dealing with the arrogant Kubota dealer I would have had to purchase it from.

BTW not long ago Kubota had a serious recall on some bolt that was not installed properly, and IIRC they needed to break the tractor apart to address it.

Sure did and my local dealer did no less than 8 units. Talk about 'make work' there it is. Something with the HST unit, a bolt wasn't torqued properly and came loose. Sure Kubota lost a bundle on that gig and I bet the assembly person is no longer employed either.

Thanks for the suggestion, Sutton tractor is the local Massey dealer. I called around to LS dealers from Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas. All of them are back up for months. Let’s go Brandon is all the will say? Heck, my name is Bob🤦‍♂️ Lol
Call Diamond R Equipment in Freeburg Missouri. Ask for Jim the owner. He is good with LS and has been selling them for years. Good mechanic. I bet he can point you in the right direction. 1-573-455-2617.

My LS4150 has been great and my dealer has been good. Growing and moving into a bigger place and adding more service bays. I thought that LS also produced some tractor for MF at one time.

LS produces the compact tractors for New Holland.

since excessive regens is an issue I'm having, I do hope delete kits become available in the near future, so once the warranty is up, the whole thing can go.

The field fix is to put in a warmer thermostat. The tractor warms up and stays warm leading to less regen cycles. Had to do it to my own tractor.

My LS has had some issues, and I have a small local dealer, I consider them more of a lawn mower dealer than a tractor dealer, but they have had no major problem getting parts and service has been very good. New ECU and multiple DPF sensors trying to correct a regen issue, some sort of electronic controller for an F21 error, and a HST drive to correct hydraulic whining.... Parts seem to take 2-3 weeks to come in, then we schedule a day/time for service.
Have you tried your New Holland dealer? My xr4046hc is 95% a NH Boomer. And the parts are cheaper at my NH dealer than my LS dealer.

I'll keep that in mind after the warranty period, thanks for the parts/price info.

Doubt there will ever be emission equipment delete kits for compact or subcompact tractors. Potential market is just too small to justify the R&D investment. Plus the potential liability issue concerning EPA compliance just makes this a non starter.

If they are they will be from some other country to escape the epa.

For everyone looking for the New Holland part to fit their LS. All New Holland part numbers are the same as the LS part numbers, but you have to start with the letters MT infront of your LS part number. LS # 40254855 is equal to NH # MT40254855.

There is a delete kit already.

My local tractor dealer told me to take a piece off 3/8 pipe and sharpen 1 end. Drive it thru the ceramic catalyst filter about 3 times. That let's all of the sensors work as they should. The tractor will smoke black when you work it hard just like tractors use to do. But the computer will never see a back pressure in the catalyst filter so it will never go into regen. He says his older farmers who farm small farms do this as it's about $2,000 to change out the regen catalyst filter when it stops up or goes bad. I haven't done it, but from the way regen works it sounds like it's a perfect solution.

Also don't forget when it comes to purchasing parts for an LS, purchase the part from New Holland dealer. It's the same tractor up to 50 hp. Just add the letters MT infront of the LS part number. You get the same part at a better price.
