New L3901 with HST stop going forward or backward

Our tractor has 50 hours on it. My husband (!) was mowing a bumpy rough patch that I mowed last year and while he was mowing, the tractor stopped. The PTO was running fine as he was mowing and the tractor just stopped. Engine running fine, PTO running fine. No forward or backwards. We leave it in 4WD so I'm going to run out and make sure nothing got jostled out of position. My first thought is maybe the lever jumped out of the 4WD position and was in between the 2WD and 4Wd position. What else should I look for?

Make sure the low/medium/high lever didn’t get jostled into the neutral that’s in between them.

The HST forward / reverse solenoid is under the tractor.

Before I armored underneath with expanded steel, brush swept off the solenoid wires twice.

The engine runs fine, just won't move. I will check the position of the levers.

I have some bumpy spots in my fields also…….tell the old man to slow down!!!

Economy Ls have a manual linkage for the HST. Only the fancier Grand Ls have electronic go pedals & servos.

I read that as well, just put 4 new ones on my truck. I wouldn't want to price new rubber for the tractor just yet.
