the winds blew them over to the Texas panhandle

I'm waiting for the local winds to die down, it was so windy out a while ago I decided
to postpone the feeder fill til tomorrow. But I did fill the other feeders, bone dry, so some local squirrels are
getting obese off my sunflower seeds.

I seem to get breakfast birds and dinner birds, regularly every day.
Wonder where they go for lunch

Good morning. Low of 13C and currently 15C, calm and clear skies. 3mm of rain in the gauge.

Woke a wee bit earlier in order to do all of the things that water is required and then it was out to the shed to grab my knipex to un-hook the water pump from the tank... it's great when you've got the proper tool for the job (even though the knipex has sat, unused, for a few years).

I'll leave for Launie in a half hour. Fortunately I've got a couple of other things that I can accomplish in the 'big smoke' so the expense/time will be more 'worth it'.

Transferred the horses into Paddocks 1&2 last evening due to being away from home today.

I’ve a got a new winch sitting in the box in my garage that’s been there about 5 years. I bought it for a project long since replaced. Now I think I’ll put it on my small trailer, probably don’t need it but I’ll feel like I put it to good use.

I think mine has been sitting in a box longer, got it to put on the ranger. It’s here somewhere, along with a mounting bracket.

And mine even longer. I got it with the plan to operate the LoadHandler to empty the trailer. Never got it mounted. Prime candidate for the Mule now.

Both our daughters just left about 1:30 p.m. and I'm overstuffed with chicken, all the trimming's, and the biggest cookie you ever saw. They were here to celebrate Margaret and my Fifty-seventh wedding anniversary. They had offered to take us out to eat, but we preferred just visiting here.

Beautiful weather, about 74° this afternoon with just enough breeze to keep it from feeling too hot sitting outside for a bit.

Haven't been here much lately. Still amazing, we got on this board at the same time; I'm only 8500ish posts and you're over 43,000
