40F with abundant sunshine @ 10:45, heading up to a high of around 54F. As Rich mentioned, overnight low last night hit 25.3F here as well. So good thing I got everything plant-wise covered or moved into the garage.
Calling for low of 31F tonight and after that it looks like we are in the clear, all lows in the 40's and 50's, and high's in the 60's and 70's for the rest of the Ten Day.
Another productive day up in the shop cleaning up the mess yesterday. Sludge entirely cleaned out of parts washer, embalmed mouse disposed of in stove, new filter for it cut from a piece of Scotch-Brite pad. Need to install that and refill it today.
Progress made on decluttering horizontal surfaces, can actually see some of the surfaces now but still no joy anywhere.
Finally located my extendable Craftsman magnetic pickup tool so I can check the tunnel in the center frame section of the Kubota for any remaining debris.
Could use some more storage for tools, but will need to see how it looks after I get everything hung on pegboard.
Loaded up the stove last night with a bunch of oak and banked the fire before I knocked off and came down, hopefully will not be too bad in there when I get up there today.
Latest seed order is out on the USPS truck for delivery, so probably get some of those started later.
Hopper and three suet feeders need refilled.
Cub is due for another oil change and air prefilter cleaning, so that's on the menu for later once it warms up a little.
Once I get that done, I'll probably mow the front ... expect that there will be a snotload of dandelion flowers that are about to go to seed that need trimmed down.
Have used 6 out of the 20 bags of mulch so far, talked to The Woman and think we'll order at least another 25 bags before it goes off sale (on the 1st)
Happy Birthday to Thomas !
Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...
