“Abandoned” Case 310 dozer

On the lot next to the one we just bought, which is littered with various abandoned vehicles, trash, and squatters, is a Case dozer. When we finally get to contact the owner, it may be something I would like to add to the collection. I am not going to trespass, so I cannot provide any more info other than that it is a Case 310, but does anyone here run one of these?

Mine is a great little dozer. 6 way blade and rippers.
I've put about 800 hours on mine. It was actually the first tractor that I ever purchased.

she is actually the one who found the 430 for sale on the local Farcebook classified page—- I think so that I would stop thinking about the dozer

Not worried about the ride —- we had a small business and I operated a Bobcat 610 for seven years. My chiropractor loved that thing

Either of the two are as old as I am. They did a lot of work in their day but machinery gets tired, especially lag machines.

If they give it to you, it's well worth investigating what it might take to get it operational.
It's scrap value alone might surprise you if you give up on it.

Even at a penny a pound for iron, it is a fair amount of pennies!
