31° good morning

Might be some wicked storms tomorrow with the temp rise, then another drastic fall.

Mostly, I lose my motivation before the bike ride.

Welcome UO

Feeling a little better finally, will head to office soon. Worked remote the last 2 days.

Only 1 bag pellets left in storage box and stove about empty. No motivation to bring it in.

Don, air tool does look plausible.

Ken, maybe after picking up the shirt they thought you matched a poster?

Haven’t filed taxes yet.

Have been sleeping well.

3 new posts hopped in while I was composing mine. Pop got to fly thru a real storm on the simulator.

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 5:45AM. Cloudy skies this morning will become partly cloudy this afternoon. High 68F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
The 10-day says we'll be into the 90s by the end of the period.

Puttered yesterday morning away making a few little fixes, then managed to replace the rear tire on the touring bike with one I mistakenly took off last year. It still has a few thousand miles left on it, and the one that came off had a little over 6500. That's pretty good for a rear motorcycle tire. Then found out that Michelin has discontinued that tire, and the replacement seems priced at 50% more.🤬

Got some seat time cleaning up some of the rougher areas of the new trail, and snagged a few stumps and root balls out of the burn piles and brought them up to where the next one will be. Shot this video while making a lap of the loop. I was bouncing around in the seat pretty good and I'm amazed how well the image stabilization in the iPhone smoothed things out.

Heard from the contractor and it looks like he'll be able to start the driveway work on Monday.

Today I hope to replace the water pump on the Kubota side-by-side, then grease the FEL on the tractor. That just might be it for the day.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

65°F and cloudy with some scattered showers this morning, staying pretty stead through the day with some severe storms and high winds blowing through the area today. 50mph gusts, they say, and possible tornadoes. Yippie ... I'll be picking up some sticks this weekend for sure.

Wife did some clutter cleaning in the storage area under the stairs yesterday and found a bunch of 35mm film canisters and a few disposable cameras. No idea what's on them, so she took them to CVS to get them developed. Neither of us have used film cameras in 20-25 years, so it will be interesting to see what they contain.

She also found all of the original bank and insurance documentation from when her grandparents bought the property in 1970, including the payment books. They were paying $100/month for the original 17 acres, which came to just over $9K including interest. They added a second mortgage in '74 to finance the rest of the house construction, and paid it all off in 1986. Neat to go through and see all that stuff.

I remember trying Iron City Beer back in the '80s, BEF. You weren't missing anything.
Michelob Classic Dark was one of my favorites, Mostly_.
Some other less-than-stellar beers I remember are Red White & Blue, Black Label, Hamm's, Rock & Roll, Schaefer, Schlitz, Falstaff, Stag, and 905 (store brand). Never cared for Grolsch either.
Some of the better ones were Rolling Rock ("from the glass-lined tanks of old Latrobe"), Olympia (the "Beer Sphere" plastic quarter barrels), and most of the Molson offerings. I was never a big fan of Miller or Coors, but the Miller Genuine Draught in those odd-shaped bottles was pretty good. Leinenkugel's, Killian Red, Becks, and Heineken were all good. Does anyone remember the Little Kings Cream Ale in the little pony bottles? Drank a ton of those in my youth.

Welcome to the GN thread, OHfan.

I've always had a preference for Michelin's touring bike tires, but they certainly seem to like discontinuing the one's people like in favor of more expensive replacements.

driving home saw Exxon gas station with 4.59 for regular and 5.49 for diesel.
Wow.

decided not to stop at garden center to pick up compost on way home, had nice clothes on and sure if I pick up four bags
I'm going to slime up my clothes so will go back tomorrow in jeans. 40 and cloudy out

RNG, be careful on those sections you measured at 20 degrees incline. UTV should be ok, but that would scare me on a tractor.
