Morning all, 25 going up to 51 and saying sunny, but I don't see no sun.
Spent another 2 hours with the brushcutter yesterday. Finally broke through the last two dense sections of brush. Now it's all cleanup.
Of course when I got through on section, I saw some strange thin branches, Poison Ivy vines a few inches thick!
Seems I did not get any on me this time and will go out later to make sure the vine is separate from the root.
Looks like an ash graveyard back there, and still more large ones to come down.
Some branches were big that came down from high in the trees. They spear the ground and look like small dead trees as they stick out pretty vertical and deep. Makes me very cautious when near those trees and why I don't go in those areas on windy days.
Once I finish clearing this out, and the ground solidifies, it's tractor time to clear out rocks, trunks and stumps. Later in the season it will be flail time to keep it tame. Pictures will follow eventually.
Wagtail - arvo? Sad about the biker.
Yesterday went to police station to pick up Autism charity shirt, they run all kinds of charities and do good community work.
Right after that, was walking dog when 3 police cars quietly went up neighbor driveway across street and one more car up their neighbors driveway, no lights/sirens. Probably a home alarm went off, such a show of force though, must be a bigwig, lots of them around here.
Easy day today.
Stay safe and be well.
