Diesel oil shortage ??

Rotella 1540's been available. T-6 540 is the item I and others have been unable to source.
Now I'm still a relatively new, 2-year and change tractor owner and still figuring out how I want to do stuff. I could've gotten 5-gal pail of T-6 but balked at the pump price, over a hundred bucks, just to get it out of there. Maybe should just go that route.
For all I know though, those 5-gal pails might be gone now too.

Agreed. I caught a sale on Delvac-1 a year ago, and still have about 5 gallons on hand. I also stock up on filters on sale, since I hate paying full price for anything. I'm coming up on a full HST/hydraulic fluid change on the tractor, so that's going to be an ouch. There is no shortage of HST fluid at the dealer. They have a whole wall of 2.5 gallon jugs.
I did notice Rotella is out of stock at my local store. I would like to find a jug because the zinc content would be better for my old flathead Briggs generator motor, but I can always use a zinc additive. It doesn't have hard seat valves either, so I'll need to add a lead substitute to the gasoline.

I purchased - lifetime oil change - when I bought the Taco Wagon. So I'm Ok there. I have sufficient oil/filters in the spare bedroom for two more complete changes on the tractor. Hopefully - things will be straightened out by that time.
My Starlink internet just went up 10% too because there is an internet shortage.
All these shortages are the result of price fixing and profiteering. Like we really had a sudden shortage of toilet paper at the start of the pandemic...

Im glad that Im not the only one that uses spare bedrooms for a little storage.
Wife throws a fit. Who needs 3 bedrooms.
T6 nowhere to be found. Have not checked the truck stops or Worldwide Equip. Tractor Supply has Delvac 5W-40 at times. Probably start getting a few jugs of this for the upcoming changes.
