had a fun drive around the neighborhood in Miata with top down.
Getting out with the top down isn't so hard, if it were up, not sure my body would twist that way.
Then we got back and washed both the Miata and my Volvo.
Good exercise, got sweaty outside in the sun, about 73 now, felt great
Didn't even bother washing the Volvo wheels, driving home in rain tomorrow...
The little town of Milton is facing a doubling of its 2000 person size due to a huge development coming in, right next to friend's home. Currently corn fields. My friend is head of the local HOA and has been embroiled in public meetings for almost a year. And probably another year to come.
I remember this happening to my small town of New Hope. It was around 1000 people growing up, and by the time I got out of high school it had grown to about 1500. Then a big townhouse development was planned, and my father and many others fought it. They lost. Added almost six hundred folks to population. And this is surely local color, since so many of the inhabitants were gay, it didn't stress out the school system. This is normally what happens, town has to build a hugely expensive new school.
Curative amendment, forcing all the zoning to be rewritten.
