If there are aliens, what will they look like?

Oh, the same rabbit hole of improbability being expressed here, as to be plausible to have a theory of intelligent and intentional evolution. What a wonderful fight it is to explain the unlikelihood, using science, of life, and then to have theists jump on the very same band wagon. Its a wonderful Chinese Finger Trap of logic.

The question of what would aliens would look like is a false question. There are no aliens to us and we have never see them even in lower life forms, even in our own solar system. And there will probably never be any intelligent aliens to us, if C is immutable. Everything is too far away. And other galaxies are ever so much more farther away. Its a said fact that we may be an island. And an island of many other islands out there that have intelligent life that will never be able to communicate with each other.
A sensible scientist, has to see this, unless they want to sell Sci-fi or books.

Obviously not from the school of "Anything one can imagine can be achieved."

I would like to better know how massive stone work, so precisely fitted, displayed on locations around the globe, are found "under" crude and less advanced stonework. Lost civilizations, ALL OVER THE PLACE!

An easy way to see a factual example (close to home) of this...go visit a museum that has a "native" American display...look at the (high) level of skill and craftsmanship obvious in stone tools, arrow heads, spear points etc...that are several thousand (or more) years old...Then look at the same types of stone tools that are several hundred years old...you will see the quality greatly declined...

The above may be the end of the timeline as civilization (technology) outpaced human generation cycles...?

There is self destruction inherent to technology.
Aliens can't get here for a million years, or go back for a million years, so there is little point to attempting to deal with an entirely new species, and society that would happen in the mean time. And we are assuming that THEY stayed the same? This is silly thinking.
That's how big the Milky Way is. And that's local.
The other galaxies, that we talk about life, are so much farther away.

Film star Cary Grant is said to have kept his sanity by 'therapeutic' use of LSD. (vs 'shrooms, edibles, etc) Many cultures have availed similar substances to clear the mind and/or to focus on higher thoughts. Methane in the grotto at Delphi, smoking opium, whirling dervishes huffing hashish, peace pipes and peyote buttons, the ayahuasca experience??

We can't discredit the human imagination any more than human perception. Was an alien encounter experienced or dreamed? Experts say that such memories are transmutable over time. The courts accept this and no longer consider testimony given under hypnosis as reliably factual. Just sayin'.

Classical physics (ala Newtonian) does a wonderful job of describing real world events, and predicting outcomes.

Modern "sub atomic" physics brings many questions into the mix. There is just so much "nothingness" that needs fleshing out. We are still searching for the dark matter, and debating theories regarding "the multi verse".

Pure mathematics "Proves" happenings are predictably possible that defy our experiential understanding.

UFO's and alien life included.

Even the "big Bang" requires one free miracle to get it off the ground. Everything from nothing you say. I'll believe it when I see it. (and it's all around! What a gift!)

I was hoping to make the point that all the math, physics, and engineering classes I took didn't explain, with evidence, our universe. A lot of people set store by how much math and physics you have when discussing "science". I actually believe it hampers one's ability to think.
I actually get the "you don't understand physics" quite a bit when discussing the claims of a globe earth universe so I find your assertion hilarious.
I get that your angry as I went through the same when I went down this rabbit hole. It's OK.

But this thread is about extra-terresterials and the fact you aren't angry about discussions of something with absolutely no proof is interesting.
