Good morning, low temp -14 going to a high of 16°F. Wind calm. Sunny! Snow tonight a couple of inches.

Off to North Bay for the monthly shopping trip. About 7 stores including the gas station for some cheaper gas.

Have a safe day all

Roy, glad that new snowblower is working well for you. Too bad they don't make one that blows leaves in Autumn, snow in winter, and cooling air in summer. Maybe I'll get to work on that tomorrow.
Yeah, I think it'll do the job...
Got to watch the speed setting though...3 speeds forward, 1 reverse. The lowest gear is best for me...upper 2 gears run faster than I can walk. The "Go" lever seems to be off or all on. I'm going to have to learn how to control that before I run in to something or run over myself.
One big improvement over the earlier EGO snow blowers is the size of the wheels. The older units' wheels are pretty small...7-8 inches in diameter. The new self-propelled unit's wheels are 10" or a bit larger
It's pretty easy to push or pull, at least on concrete...rolls quite nicely
I have an EGO backpack leaf blower. As long as the leaves are dry, it works good...but if I use "turbo" mode, battery life (5.0 A/hr. battery) is pretty short...

Prayers for all

Good morning all. 28 going up to 40 in sunshine, start of a slow warmup this week.
Maybe the heat will go North and melt some of Thomas' and Roy's snow.

mad pancakes for breakfast.
I don't think they were mad, just a little undercooked.... ;)

Roy, I'm with you. Most rototillers and snowblowers go way too fast for me, I'm always in the slow mode.
I bet that EGO unit is well made. And to think ten years ago we had never heard of this company.
EGO is owned by a chinese company named Chervon, that also owns the Skil brand.

off to Costco this morning in Warrington to finally get my pic taken for id. Then I will make an appt for an audiology exam to see if
hearing aids will help me. Going to go through Doylestown first to get car washed, half the price it is here.
3.99 for regular, 3.79 cheapest no name, diesel is over 4 bucks a gallon.

When diesel went over 4 dollars a gallon a few times ago, I sold my boat. 35 gallons an hour at cruise was simply not affordable.

Buppies, we are going to enjoy some dry warming weather. I still squish around walking in my back yard.

Ted, hope your knee feels better.

Don, welcome home. Glad the trip was good. Where'd you go this time?
Cozumel, Mexico,
Roatan, Honduras,
Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico.

Jamaica and Grand Caymans were taken off the itinerary because they were not accepting cruise ships yet.

Mostly, the ship with the sails was not the one we were on it was in port in Cozumel with ours and the colors of the water were picture perfect. We were on Liberty of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean Int. Ship. Temps for last week were perfect - upper 70s to mid 80s.

Good morning! 22˚F With clear Texas skies heading to 62˚F.

Good Morning
27 here with a high in upper 30’s.

Yesterday’s trip was a nice day, a bit windy and bumpy getting on and off the ground but decent ride enroute. We had a very nice visit at our clients new house which was stunning. They laughed at me because I was as interested in the mechanicals as the the attention to detail throughout the house. We had a great lunch with a view of the Atlantic out the window.

To give an example of the level of detail, here’s a heat register-

By the time I got home, I didn’t do much other than put my feet up and pay attention to Emily.

Today, I’ll get to see palm trees before Emily gets her attention. Off to Florida with a quick stop in Virginia.

Don, was there an ice skating rink on the ship?

Sounds like you had a good time, Don. Our youngest daughter, granddaughter, grandson, grandson's wife, and their two little ones (our great grandkids) all went on a Caribbean cruise about a week before you did.

Everyone tells me how great they are, but I've alway said I'd be glad to go if they paid me enough, but otherwise just never had any desire to ride a boat unless I can fish along the way.LOL

NWS says it got down to 20° at the Denton Airport and 27° here, 10 miles south of the airport. Supposed to go to 64° today, and if the weather guessers are right, no more freeze for us for this week, at least.

We're having drier weather than we've had in a long time. I just got to looking at some of my old records and realized that I have not used the lawnmower now for the last 4 months. I can't even remember a year in the past that I've gone that long without doing any mowing.

   / Good morning!!!! #146,510
glad you are back and had fun Don.
I've never seen an ice skating rink on a cruise ship, really must take some refrigeration power to get that done.

waiting til 9 to order some flowers for a member of church whose first anniversary of her teenage son's death is Wednesday.
No one talks about it much so I'm pretty sure it was an overdose of something.
and she is head of our group we call care and counsel that looks out after sick members. So now it's her turn to be cared for.
I made sure her son's grave site was tended to and looked nice for her. Hard to imagine how she feels.

Yes, it is...and you pay for that quality
I bought the whole thing...blower, batteries and charger (holds 2 batteries) for $1300
The 7.5 A/hr. batteries sell for >$400, so all told, pretty decent deal. I now have 4 of them...which would be enough to power the EGO ZTR if I decide to go for one. Right now, the EGO ZTR's have a 42" mower deck...a little small for my yard

Vent covers unlimited is one who makes these I’m sure there are others. Have ordered from them before very good success

   / Good morning!!!! #146,513
those vent covers sure look better than my old dented tired metal ones.
Love the wood look/build.
Buppies I think just about anything is on the internet, you just google what you want and bingo, three choices.

   / Good morning!!!! #146,515
When we replaced the hardwood floor and some carpet in our home several years ago the installer used these vents and when one needed replaced the google search won the day as I had no idea where they came from

Good Morning!!!! 52F @ 6:15AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. High near 75F. Winds light and variable.
Chances of rain are good for Wednesday through Friday this week. Only a half inch of accumulation is predicted, but it's still time to tarp over the burn pile.

Unbelievable video coming out of Ukraine of a tank purposely running over a car. Isn't that a war crime?

For the past couple of days I've been trying to locate the survey stakes that were placed back in '19 so the dozer operator will have something to go by when he's cutting the fire break. The brush is so thick it's impossible to see from one to the other in most places, and now I'm wondering how we'll know just where the property line is. It's also almost too steep to walk in several places as well, and I also wonder how the dozer will manage it, let alone a tractor. Because once the break is cut, it'll have to be maintained each year, probably by discing.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start...

29°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 61° today. Looks like now they're saying we'll be up in the low to mid 70s tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm guessing that will take care of any remaining ice here.

Only working a half day today. Wife is having some oral surgery done this afternoon, so I'll need to driver her there and home again.

   / Good morning!!!! #146,519
Morning all, in the 30's today.
Was too windy to drop big trees so I spent close to 4 hours with bruschcutter and pole saw.
Dropped a few small trees with the ps.

Off today from day job, stress test at dr. later

stay safe and be well,

42 going to 46, nice warm period coming up.

Comcast changed my service from 200 mbps, to 800 mbps. I didn’t see any real difference at first. About 160-180 down and 5-7 Up.
Investigating I found out my modem was only good to 200. I bought a new modem/router combo with a max of 800 mbps. Now I get from 450 to 550 down and 16-17 up. Big improvement.
