Any ideas on Hydraulic Arm Cylinder repairs, as my upper and lower arms on my John Deere 790 leak like a sieve, as going through a gallon or more on a monthly basis even after rebuilding with standard JD kit..
And the price for the arms from JD are $1200 each for new ones.

Consider taking them to a local hydraulic shop. They may be no more expensive to do the whole job than just the price of a kit from Deere and they'll likely guarantee the work.

I just had a lift cylinder rebuilt last summer at a hydraulic shop. $200 plus tax. And it is drip free. Ten minutes to remove or install the cylinder myself.

Is the chrome plating on the rams pitted? Rebuilding cylinders is a pretty easy job but the chrome has to be good otherwise it’ll eat the seals again.
