Bought a axe to my self as Jule present

I replaced the circulation pump on the dishwasher today. It has been acting up for a good 6 months and it finally quit so I could diagnose it. My wife is thrilled!

Now she can wash her axe, and she will stop acting up.

Nice Axe! I treated me self to a Gransfors Bruks hewing axe a few years ago. The maker stamped his initials on it and a picture of him and coworkers was enclosed in the box.

I was surprised you had to buy an axe in Norge. It seems something like that would be passed from father to son or purchased as a coming of age gift. Sort of a cultural right of passage.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of the ancient axe heads. It is always amazing to me how effective many of the tools and concepts were before industrialization.

For science it could be very important the place where EXACTLY it was found. Because there can be many more artifacts involved around that place which might show important part your country's history.
