Know it very well. Back from the days of Drive in Restaurants where you did park you car and blow the horn for service. Does it show on the map by that name for I really thought it was the name of the now store there.

Not really sure. we always just called the area Park and Blow. It made the David Letterman show, I think it was Dave.

I live not to far from Disco Illinois. I’d forgotten about it until a couple of weeks ago when they had a flood and you got it, there was panic at the Disco.

There's a little town in Indiana called Disko. Somebody misspelled. I don't know who.

I don't know where Zzyzx, Nevada is, but I have been to Zzyzx California many times.
It's a traffic jam at lunch time in the middle of nowhere.

Kenmbz - you are correct - in California - somehow I assumed it was in Nevada as the only I see the signs are when I am on the way to Nevada.

Kenmbz, actually, I am not a fan of Las Vegas. I have probably been there about 4-5 times in the 50 years I have lived in California and never before that. When we do go, it is for the food and shows - never gamble one dime- and we head out early mornings to sites near there- Valley of Fire is nice, Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam. When the kids were little we would also go to a great water park - not sure it is still there.

But on those trips I would always wonder about Zzyzx. Never took the road to check it out though.

Funny about Vegas, I got married there, been there a dozen times, never gambled a cent.
Wasn't there for about 15 years or so, went back as part of a parks trip pre-covid.

Last trip however might be my last, gotten even slimier in the last decade.
